I booked w/ Disney Direct. I am a planner I emailed and called all the agents I could find and in the end Disney was the least expensive by $120 so I added another day and I'm still saving $75! Happy Hunting everyone!

I assume that the $120 difference was due to airfare?

I know that you will do the right thing, but please contact all of the agents that gave you prices and let them know that you booked your trip already - so they don't wonder what happened to you - they will appreciate the courtesy.

No the Difference was not because of airfare, I book my own. I have a unique problem when it comes to flying and I have to plan it myself to make sure everything is right or I'll freak out the whole time and most likly have a panic attack!
I have contacted the agents that were nice enough to give me a quote. I don't want them to have a hold on a resort for me when I don't want it and then someone else can't get the resort they want because of my hold! I am always very careful about that!

Have fun on your trip... but wait one sec... If you are a planner yourself, why waste a TA's time and not just one by the sounds of it... many?

You know that they spend time researching prices and planning for you - the client. That's time they could have spent with non-planners and first timers! You know they don't get paid for checking prices for you right?

No the Difference was not because of airfare, I book my own.

Do you have any idea why there would be such a large difference between what the travel agents quoted you and what Disney quoted you? Are you comparing apples to apples?
