I may not be posting another update today because I am, as we speak....type, uploading 1482 pictures to photobucket. Yeah, a lot! I was too lazy to go through each and every picture to see if I had uploaded it already but I know that I hadn't uploaded a whole bunch of them. The ones that I found of Hollywood Studios are the ones that made me decide on the name of my trip report.

I saw pictures of the Smoky's on Facebook yesterday and there is already snow at the top of the mountains. The road to Clingman's Dome very likely may be closed. But it is just the road to Clingman's Dome. You can still drive the highway from Gatlinburg to Cherokee which passes by Newfound Gap. I think you guys stopped their last year (?). Can you tell where my mind is?? Keith's company is starting something new though and they want to implement the week of Thanksgiving! Who does that!? He is trying to see if he can still get off on Wednesday.

Great night shots at Epcot! I love taking night shots there! I did not get to this year as much as I wanted too. The video of Hunter just made me long to be in Florida right now! Okay....my longings are going from Tennessee to Florida so I guess I am giving away my need for a vacation!! Those crowd pictures look much better than mine!

MY son and my 10 year old grandson are HUGE Star Wars fans but we can never seem to go at that time plus the heat would kill me. Can't wait for the rest of yout DHS pictures. Loved the closeups of the Epcot lights and the night photos. I need to work on night photos on our next trip.

Bummer on the lines for the characters/actors! Glad Hunter was able to get one meet-and-greet.

Now, when you get the actor FP, can you still get ride FP or is it the treated like a regular FP with the waiting period?

I love the way cell phones have made it so easy to split up and meet up in a park. But I'm a worrier and I always try to have a Plan B. Like if for some reason someone's cell fails or whatnot- If you haven't heard from me by such and such a time, lets meet at this attraction at 3.

I'm so happy to hear Lacey and Jesse will spend Christmas with you!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL OF MY DISBOARD FRIENDS! I hope that you are all being nice and only giving out treats and not tricks! We have not had one trick or treater yet. Our house is at a dead end and we have a long driveway that is pretty dark so I guess the kids are too scared to come down here.

I got a bit of a treat today......a new vehicle! A brand new Mazda CX7! As I have told in my trip reports, my car engine light has been going on and off for about a year or so now and it recently started doing a few other things that told us we were about to have to pay a semi-hefty sum of money to get it fixed. Rather than do that, we went car shopping over the weekend and found one that we liked. We got a great deal too. It helped that John had built cabinets for two of the dealership owners and also for the sister of the owner himself. By the time we were done, the sticker price had come down almost $5,000.00 and it was already marked down about $2,000.00.

I'll try to get responses posted tomorrow and maybe another installment done as well.

I am not really sure about the Star Wars Weekend Fastpasses work. I know we didn't have to show our Keys to the World Card to get the Fastpasses. The lines were outside of the ticket turnstiles. Last year, they told us that we would have to wait for 2 hours before getting another Star Wars actor Fastpass but we were able to. This year, we didn't even have time to find out if we could get another one because they were all gone.

I don't like splitting up too much on vacation and relying on cell phones either but, we do it on occasion.

I heard about the weather there. It's still in the 70s during the day here but the nights are chilly.

The heat is pretty bad but, since we are from Louisiana, we deal with it fairly well.

My night time photos usually turn out pretty bad but I did manage to get at least a few decent ones.

Those sidewalk light photos are really cool!! Thank you for the snail photo.

The snail was huge! A little girl and her dad were walking by and asked what we were looking for. She went nutso over the snail and said she loved insects.

Your mind is right where mine is.....on getting the heck outta town! I am so ready to go on this short trip. If we don't get to go to Clingman's Dome, I'll be fine with it because then I won't have to actually chicken out of going out on the walkway.

I wish i wree in Disney too! If it were up to me, I'd go during every holiday so I could see the decorations. We haven't seen the decorations for Christmas since 2000.

We haven't had a trick or treater in 20 years but Denny buys candy every year anyway. I think it's really because he likes to eat it himself.

We usually don't get many trick-or-treaters, usually only going thru one bag of candy, and maybe a handful out of a second bag. We actually went through two full bags and had to find a bag of Hershey Kisses to give to the rest of the kids that came.

Congrats on the new car! What a treat indeed!!! We can't wait to get a new car! Need something bigger since our family is growing! LOL! But we have to wait for our one car to be paid off first!!! Can't afford 2 car payments now that I'm not working! Oh well. We'll just have to deal with the little Hyundai Elantra for now! Can't wait for the next update!!!

Congrats on the new car! I'll be buying a new one soon too. The problem is, BOTH of our cars are close to dying and we don't know which one will last us the longest. I fear we might have to make do with just 1 car for a couple of years...
