Jumping, Dancing & Jamming Our Way Through Walt Disney World! I'm With the Band Now!

Hi Lisa! That is great news about Hunter. I was kinda hoping something like that would happen! ;) Hope he gets to go! Congrats to Lacey! Hope she gets the job! So happy for you & John that he got some new jobs lined up! It's always a great thing to earn extra money!!! Sorry about Hunter's game. It always works out that way....people come to see ya play & ya don't play! :upsidedow Hopefully they do good the next game!

Well, looking forward to your next installment!!!

i'm here...kind of...it's gonna take me awhile to catch up on all these reports and I'm only online mondays/tuesday and some wednesdays...wish me luck.

As I said before, we had a dinner ADR at Coral Reef and we didn't have a whole lot of time before we would need to check in. So, after doing the boat ride in Mexico, we decided to head back towards Future World via the rose garden walkway. I could tell that Mama was getting tired and it was hot outside so that certainly didn't help. Our walk over:

The monorail:

Just past the roses was this patch of beautiful flowers:

Not the typical bunny rabbit that's usually hiding in the flower gardens of Epcot but he's my honey bunny ....everybody say awwwwwwwwww:

The Seas was in our sights:

It was so hot outside that we were ready to get in the cool air conditioned building so I snapped pictures while we walked:

And the only picture I took while walking through the building:

Lacey said that she didn't remember ever riding the clamshells but I know that she did because I had a picture of her and Hunter in one. Mama was able to step onto the moving platform pretty well and Hunter and Lacey joined her. John and I had the clamshell all to ourselves and I have to admit that I did get a smoochey woochey from my hubby since we were alone. After all, he is my honey bunny. :lovestruc

By the time we had gotten off the clamshells, Mama was ready to really sit down and rest for a little while. She had done a great job walking all day but the heat and walking was wearing her down a bit. John was ready to do some people watching so they sat down near one of the windows while Hunter, Lacey and I went to see the manatees.

Mama and John came over after a while and watched the manatees feeding and to ask a couple of questions to the castmember who was feeding them. It started to get a little crowded so we moved on to move observation windows.

Look at what we spotted:

There were some divers in the aquarium and there families were near us. One of the little boys kept saying "that's my daddy". It was cute.

What the heck is up with the Disboards today? It's slower than dirt. I'll try and finish this installment but I ain't makin' no promises.

I know!! :headache: I'm surprised I was able to post an update myself!

I love that you guys are still in love and getting some smooching in on a dark ride. :lovestruc

I've seen you "peeping" around the Disboards lately. Glad to have you here again even if it is just a little bit.

Hi Lisa! That is great news about Hunter. I was kinda hoping something like that would happen! ;) Hope he gets to go! Congrats to Lacey! Hope she gets the job! Well, looking forward to your next installment!!!

The teacher told us that it was not unusual for the top 50 to change hands quite a bit between now and the scheduled trip.

I am so happy that John has more jobs coming up. Not only does that allow us to replinish what we paid out on the wedding but it also allows us to continue to write off all of our household utilities, etc. because we run the company office out of our house. :thumbsup2

WOW! Bummer about Hunter's game, but all the rest of the newessss is wonderful!
I do hope Hunter gets to goto New York. Sam had a blast when she went, and talks about it still. Just remember when he does go, to tell him when you want him to take a picture of him & the Statue of Liberty to get her head in the shot. My Sammy got her and the statues feet!:rolleyes1

You must have some awesome contacts to be getting such nice things for your funraiser! I bet you raise lots O money!

Good Luck to your DH on all his new jobs, I bet he's happier to be worker on his own stuff.

I am hoping that Hunter gets to go too. He really really, when I say really, I mean really, wants to go. :rotfl:

So Sam got a picture of the Statue of Liberty's feet huh? Totally sounds like something one of my kids would get a picture of. Or even the videographer at Lacey's wedding. Yeah, I'm still bitter about that. :lmao:

I have email address and contact info galore and am making good use of it too. Bruce from Swamp People sent us a bunch of autographed items and had mentioned doing a meet and greet but it was wild alligator season. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can sweet talk his wife into getting him to come.

That's great that Hunter has already moved up 10 places!!!

All the other great news are great too! And while it's a bummer that they lost a game, they have won a lot before so it's not *too* bad of a news.

I know! I hope he keeps moving on up just like the Jeffersons. Oh Lord, I'm showing my age aren't I.

Wow Hunter moved up that list really fast! I hope he gets to go! NYC is such a great place to visit!

Sounds like all the great things are happening for you right now! Congrats to Lacey on the job interview! I will keep my fingers crossed for her. My first job out of college was also at a gym, I taught swimming lessons there.....I know get a BA then teach swimming for a career lol. It was great though because when I finally got an office job they let me stay on part time on the weekends, so it was a great way to earn extra money!

It's about darn time that we had some good news around here. It seemed like all we had for a while was dull, boring, when the heck are we going to have peace news.

Lacey called a little while ago and the phone interview went really well. They were going to call her after the head honcho looked at the phone interviewer's notes and they talked. Not 20 minutes later, the head honcho called and Lacey has another interview tomorrow! Sounds super promising.

Boo for the bad football game, but yay for all the good news! Glad Hunter is closer to making the trip, John got lots of jobs and Lacey might have a new job herself. And that's fantastic that ypu have gotten so much for the fundraiser. I wouldn't even know where to start to get things like that!

Looking forward to the next installment. Looking to get my Disney fix before I leave for Utah this weekend. :woohoo:

I am excited about all of our news too! We were broke by any means but John being off work because of his med changes was a bit whack to our pocketbook. With these side jobs, he can work at his own pace after his regular job.

I'm pretty good at doing fundraisers. I am one of those type people who will ask somebody/anybody to donate items. All they can do is tell me no and then I'll move on to somebody else.

I know!! :headache: I'm surprised I was able to post an update myself!

I love that you guys are still in love and getting some smooching in on a dark ride. :lovestruc

For some reason, it's taking the pages forever to load. :confused3

Yeah, we are pretty romantic.....NOT.....but we do like to get a little kissy face every once in a while.

I think Hunter better be able to go with all the work you are putting into this. I love the pictures this time, I dont know why, but I love the seas pavilion.

Hi Lisa, enjoying your TR as always! I am with Kathy, I have no idea how you do all that you do. My hat is off to you!:thumbsup2

That about made me cry when you said your mama cried when she said goodbye to Lacey. I am so glad they got to spend a bit of time together.

Love the glass blower in Mexico and I have had one excellent meal in Sunshine Seasons and a couple of not so great ones. The strawberry shortcake is what keeps me going back. Well and the fact sometimes I don't have the energy to leave that building waiting for my fastpass for Soarin to come up!

Soarin was my father in law's favorite Disney attraction too, we rode that with him many times in Disneyland. Glad your mama enjoys it as well!

I don't know how I do it all either but I am just not a sit-still kinda gal.

I did tear up when Lacey said Mamaw cried when they left. My mother loves my kids so much and it kills her that she doesn't get to see Lacey every day. I'm hoping that we all get to go to Tennessee over the Thanksgiving holidays.

Sunshine Seasons wasn't the best meal I've ever had. In all honesty, I'd rather have a burger from the Electric Umbrella.

How nice to have a weekend with not too much on the agenda! That's always a blessing! :goodvibes

We have officially canceled our surprise cruise with the boys so I am more anxious than ever to get a new trip scheduled. It looks like it won't be until Spring of 2013 unless some unexpected financial windfall comes along. Sad, but at least I have a date to look forward to. That's better than nothing I suppose!

How sweet that Lacey and Mama are so close. I am very close with my grandmother as well..that is a very special relationship!

You and Jeff have been some busy beavers at your house. I've seen those pictures you have on Facebook. Thank God...literally...for your wonderful church family and friends.

I am sad to hear that you have canceled the cruise. Like you said, though, you can shoot for a vacation in 2013. Gives you more time to plan. ;)

It sounds like a nice, quiet weekend. Yay for starting up on your blog again!!! I will go check it out. I totally abandoned mine.
I have to tell you- you made me laugh today when I read the "Helloooo Humans"!! I love that.

I posted on the blog that day and hope to get something posted tomorrow since my boss will be in court tomorrow morning.

I was afraid that some of ya'll might not know what I meant when I said "Hellooooo humans!"

Yay for all the good news! :yay: You really got some great things for the auction. It seems like Hunter has a pretty good chance of going on the trip if he moved up that far in such a short time.

I love those manatees, can't wait to see your Coral Reef report.

Funny enough I have a picture of an actual bunny in those flowers John is in, from last November while waiting for Illuminations to start. Let me see if I can find it.

Here it is!

BunnyRabbit2.jpg

I have pictures of it in the actual flowers around there, but I forgot to turn the flash on in those ones, so they are too dark. This is the only decent picture. Not the same as your Honey Bunny, but it is pretty darn cute!

Can't wait to see your review of Coral Reef. I've wanted to go there the last two times, but haven't been able to get a reservation.

So much good news! :cool1: That's awesome!

The Dis was super slow this afternoon, but enjoying the update so far. Can't wait to hear about Coral Reef, that's the ressie we bumped this trip. We might try it next time though.

Good news is always nice to read about! But sorry about Hunter's game.

Best of luck to Lacey with her interview, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Okay, I admit, when I saw "news" I wondered if maybe Lacey was going to make you a grandma!

Epcot has the prettiest flowers!

Too bad about Hunter's game, but you can't win them all, right? I'm sure his team will kick some booty next game!

Yay for Lacey's interview and for John's jobs. Good news on the job front is always a welcome thing!

You have some very exciting items for the auction! So cool that so many celebrities are willing to donate to such a good cause. I'm sure it's a lot of work for you. Good for you for sacrificing your time to help out. :goodvibes

And you are so right about being thankful to my church family. We saved thousands of dollars by having all of the labor donated for the new roof. Such a blessing. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: Nothng wrong with a little kissy face on a dark ride! Just keep it PG. ;) The world needs more Love!

Mmm Coral Reef, I can't wait to see what you all had. I originally had a AR for there, but switched it out for 1900 PF.

As a former DLR CM, the dark rides are famous for their smooch factor.....:thumbsup2. Just remember there are cameras throughout the attractions.

Lisa, great update. I love the picture of John in the flowers.:love:

And Mark and I have been known to "smooch" every once in awhile on a ride (Peter Pan was probably the last time).

Oh, that bunny looks a little possessed.

I love all those Flower pictures. So pretty! I wish I was there right now! Too cute that the little boy kept talking about his daddy in the tank! It would be cool to do that diving tour (but I'm not Scuba certified so it's not gonna happen.)
