Jumping, Dancing & Jamming Our Way Through Walt Disney World! I'm With the Band Now!

What?? :scared1: No wedding pictures yet? I'm SHOCKED!

So glad Jesse got there safely! Poor guy- probably won't be interested in coming down for a while! :rolleyes1

Love the pictures of Fantasyland! A little bittersweet looking at those pictures now.

I don't think I have actually EVER rode Snow White. I do not remember it at all if I did. Sadly, I never will! I really should have gone and rode it last year, but I knew it would be too scary for Cortlyn at the time. Oh well…

I can't believe Jesse had that much trouble getting there! But at least he made it safe and it all worked out in the end. I bet he was tired!

We like to sit on that balcony and eat if we can't get a table near the window at Its a Small World. Did they tell you where you had to sit too or they just made you all stay together?

I really like the Snow White ride. I wish they would at least keep it open until the Mine ride is done. I wonder if they will use any of the props in the old ride for the new one.

The last time we were in MK was Oct. 2010 and the Winnie the Pooh Queue wasn't done yet so that will be new for us.

IF I go on the Tea Cups I tell everyone if your in my cup no spinning! The ride spins enough on its own for me. Anyone who wants to make it spin can get their own cup:laughing:

I'm off to your ptr

2 update behind!:sad2:

I'm glad Jesse got there safe and sound after all of that! I bet he slept 'round the clock!

Thank-you for all the pictures of Snow White, Our last ride was Jan 2011. So sad.

I am dizzy just looking at your Teacup pictures! I can't have the girls spin me or my breakfast may reappear!

I can't wait until the Fantasy land construction is complete!

Jesse took a three hour nap as soon as he got to our house and hit the bed early too. He was one tired man.

I just had to ride Snow White one last time before they close it down.

I'm looking forward to seeing how much progress has been made on the new Fantasyland expansion!

I know! I have them on Photobucket but haven't had time to post them yet.

Too bad you didn't get a chance to ride Snow White. It could be a little scary for little ones who don't like dark rides.

They didn't tell us where we could sit, only made us wait until our entire party was together.

I think they said that the Snow White attraction was going away and it would be home to the princesses until the Fantasyland Expansion is done. I think the should use some of the props in the new attraction.

Morning! I finally got the wedding pictures uploaded. The quality isn't the greatest because I took my littlest point and shoot. The wedding was outside in a gazebo and, amazing, the weather cooperated. I told my sister that she must have cashed everything she had with the Good Lord because the day before was rainy and the day after it rained too. I took quite a few of these pictures when the photographer was taking them or rearranging the wedding party so they aren't looking at me in most of them. :sad2:

Ashly's step-dad giving her a kiss as her dad walked her down the aisle. I should have cropped out the dad because his eyes are closed:

**Okay, now I'm off to find the rest of my Magic Kingdom pictures so I can write an update.

I loved the wedding pictures. Love Ashley dress. Food looks yummy and here I sit at lunchtime with a salad! Lacey looks great...she looks like she has lost weight....must misss her mama's cooking! I am heading over to your pre=trip now. Would you believe I haven't started my TR and I have been back over 6 weeks. But have no fear we are already talking 2013!

Before all of you trip report reports and the Lord above, I am making a promise that I will keep this next trip's pictures more organized and will not put them all into either one big album or semi-big albums on Photobucket! I am not kidding! I have had the hardest time finding and/or organizing these last few days of pictures. It doesn't help matters that I use multiple cameras while on vacations. The laptop is going with us to Disney and I will upload the pictures day by day no matter how tired I am.

Okay, so now that I have gotten that off my chest, let me go on to say that there are missing pictures that won't make it into this installment simply because I don't have them uploaded or I am too lazy to search any harder than I already have.

We left the Mad Tea Party Tea Cups on wobbly legs and started our way towards the front of the park because Mama was on her way to the Magic Kingdom. As we got closer to the hub, we heard lots of music and realized that the Shake it! Move it! Whatever you call it! Parade was coming through. We reached a wall of folks and had to stop but had a great view of the floats, characters and castmembers. (This is where some lovely photos of the floats, characters and castmember would be inserted had I found them. Close your eyes and imagine all the bright colors, the dancing castmembers and the waving characters.)

Once the parade moved past, the crowd did too and we were able to make our way up front so we could wait on Mama. Hunter and John stopped in the candy shop to buy Hunter his favorite snack...Mickey gummies.

Mama spotted us easily and wanted to know if we would like to take a spin around the park via the train. She likes riding the train and we hadn't done it so far so we went on up and waited for the next train to arrive. I took these when waiting for the train to leave the station:

We got off at the Frontierland station and made our way over to the Liberty Belle Riverboat. It was taking on passengers when we arrived and all of the seats were taken so we had to stand. I guess I only took two pictures:

100_2289.jpg

Even though there's really nothing much to see on the riverboat cruise, it was still nice and relaxing and gave us a little bit of a respite from the crowds. But, I gotta tell you, leaning on the rails on a hot day is not recommended! We burned the hot diggity dog out of our arms when we leaned on them. Ouch!

As you could see from the pictures of the Haunted Mansion queue, there was quite a line so we knew we didn't want to go there. What to do? What to do? Oh I know! There was one little tidbit of goodness that we had heard about for so many years, had smelled as we walked but had never tried. That yummy deliciousness call a Dole Whip! When we got close to the line, we could see that it snaked around the side. Hum? What do we do now? Why not find a seat, let John and Hunter go into the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House and I'll keep a watch on the line.

I handed the camera off to Hunter and off he and John went. Look at the first picture he took:

The boy knows that I need that type of information when I write my trip reports. I taught him right. :thumbsup2

By the time John and Hunter made it back to us, the line for the Dole Whips was still long but Mama had talked about nothing but tasting a Dole Whip every since she went with us to Disney in 2000. Lacey and I hopped in the line and waited in the boiling hot sun. I couldn't wait to get some ice cream in my body so that I could cool off. After about 15 minutes, we were next at the window and placed our order for two Dole Whips, a Sprite and a pineapple juice.

100_2326.jpg

Oh my word! Why has it taken us so long to get a Dole Whip? It was AMAZING! I have a dairy allergy and will get headaches if I eat too much but I was willing to take the risk. As we were eating, I noticed a hidden Mickey:

***Up next: More Magic Kingdom!

Beautiful wedding pictures! Yay for nice weather... I know you were almost expecting a last minute change.

Ahh...gummies. Something my children have been missing since the onset of braces!

We love to ride the riverboat. There is always a nice breeze and it's very relaxing. Plus..waving to people on the banks is so fun! ;)

15+ trips to WDW, a card-carrying DIS member and NO DOLE WHIPS???? How did you sleep at night? :rotfl: Now that you are in on the secret, I'm sure you'll never again visit the MK without one! :)

The next time the Aloha Isle line is long, you can get a Dole Whip at the little snack place by the Tiki Room. They also sell them at the Poly.

Lisa, I am hopelessly behind (ever since I heard of the impending engagement and then it happening and now the kids driving me crazy with questions, I can't get caught up). But I did go through and skim all the pictures and doings. I love the wedding pictures, and so glad Jesse got there in time.

The wedding pics are nice, her gown was beautiful, I love the flowy skirt/train. I love the little guy with his tongue out! LOL (Ring bearer?)

Love Dole Whips! Yummy! :thumbsup2 I was disappointed that I didn't get one this last trip.

Thats wonderful your niece had such good weather for her wedding after all that bad weather. It looks like she had the perfect wedding!

I'm loving all the MK pictures. I've never had a dole whip either but then again I don't like pineapple. I do love a nice cold Mickey icecream on a hot day though!

Beautiful pictures of the wedding! It did turn into a gorgeous day!

Hunter did a great job taking pictures. Makes me want to explore the tree house again. It has been a few years.

I plan to get a Dole Whip in....10 DAYS!! :goodvibes They are so good!!!

Thank you for posting the wedding pictures. Ashly made a beautiful bride. Her dress was lovely. The wedding cake was also gorgeous. Love the money pinned to their clothes during their exit. :rotfl: I hope none dropped off! :rotfl:

I try to upload my pictures a day at a time in photobucket. That's literally how I organize. Disney December 2011 Day 1, ect. It makes it a lot easy to find things. I also use the organizer thing in the album. I just take them out of iphoto by date and upload them that way. It works (most of the time).

I love your pictures of the treehouse. I am due to update mine this summer. I haven't taken any in well over 2 years. You got some great views.

Hmmmmmmm - Dole Whip~

I'm back again and all caught up! I'm so excited to start reading your PTR! I really need to get with it on excursion planning!

Loved the wedding pictures! Lacey's hair is cute short! And that cake looked wonderful!

My bunch loves the Dole Whips, too! You can also get one in the 'food court' - Captain Cook's - at the Polynesian. :thumbsup2

Shut up! I had no idea they sold Dole Whips there too! The last time we got anything from that snack stand it was a frozen orange juice. Thanks for the tip!

Girl, I totally understand. I remember how behind I got when I was trying to get all Lacey's wedding stuff done.

The little guy was cute and ended up going and sitting down on his grandmother's lap about 10 minutes into the ceremony.

The wedding went off without a drop of rain!

I could go for a Mickey ice cream bar right now. I'd even take the headache that goes along with it.

It had been a while since we had gone up in the tree too because Mama can't climb all those steps.

Just 10 days and you'll be snacking on a Dole Whip! Color me officially jealous!

Thanks for the tip on how to organize my pictures. Usually, by the time we make it back to the resort, I'm too pooped to poop. :lmao: I am going to do it this trip though because it's simply too hard to organize them otherwise.

I'm glad to see you posting again! How's the trip planning going? I'm going to talk about our excursion on my pre-trip report next.

Lovely wedding pictures. Everyone looks so nice.

Is that a dole whip float then? It lloks like it has juice in it. I think if I try another one, I'll go wit hthat, though I am really leaning towards the orange one I've read about.
