jumpiness of threads on the dis due to ads

This keeps getting worse. Now I can't even respond to a thread without it jumping in the middle of my typing. It just did it again. I can't even finish reading a post without it jumping down to the ads. VERY ANNOYING.

Yes! It's at the point where I can't use my tablet at all without getting frustrated. I keep going to go into a thread and end up somewhere else because it ALWAYS jumps right then. The DIS has become borderline unusable for me the past few weeks. If I weren't actively planning a trip, I wouldn't bother logging in.

I've been getting the first little bit of audio from one of the ads, then it stops. It drives me crazy!!

Wow this just started happening to me and I thought something was wrong with my laptop.

I thought there was something wrong at my house because it is on my tablet my phone and my laptop. It is getting worse and driving me crazy.

In the last day or so, when I open any page on the Dis, the top 3rd of the page will give me a solid white pop up for a second (forcing everything down), then the ad block kicks in (forcing everything back up). What's strange is for a test I turned off my ad blockers and the same thing happens.

This is VERY annoying. If the DIS doesn't get this back, I'm going to ask for a refund or credit for the days this is happening.

ITA, seems to me they should at least buy me dinner in an upscale restaurant!! I am highly offended by the jumpiness

It only started happening to me yesterday, but its driving me freaking nuts. Admittedly, that's a short drive, but its really annoying. Plus I've started to get pop ups that are redirecting me to some other site wanting to give me a new iPhone. I don't even own any apple products. I hope they can get this stuff fixed PDQ.

The boards are pretty much unusable from my phone. Which is a shame, since when the software was changed, it was marketed as "mobile friendly" and the app was discontinued. Whoever would describe this board software as "mobile friendly" must not know what that means.

Issues:
-Takes a while to "load" even on wifi...and by "load"...I mean load all the ads. Even when you think they are loaded, there is still jumpiness. I often click the wrong thread, or accidentally click someone's profile or "report post."
-At the bottom of each page, there is a stack of 3-5 ads you have to go through to get to the link to the forms (like for here, to get the link to go back to the community board). Sometimes the ads take up the entire screen on my phone and I get "stuck" trying to scroll through the ads without clicking them.
-I am often redirected to download an app, without clicking an ad.

I truly wonder if the administrators actually saw the site on a mobile device or tablet (with the ads loaded) before heralding it as mobile-friendly.

I usually end up in SeaWorld. Is the Dis trying to encourage us to broaden our posting horizons?

It's been bad for a while on mobile devices, but in the last 2-3 days it's been absolutely unusable. Hopefully someone can figure out exactly what's causing it (specific ads, maybe?) and fix it. On my phone, almost the entire screen will be white for about 30 seconds, then the white will disappear, but will still jump around for another 20 seconds or so and then I can finally click on the link I really want. For some reason, the pages load so slow now (ads I'm sure) and the jumping around drives me nuts.

Ditto. The same thing is happening to me with the white screen. I thought it was that my phone needed to be restarted or maybe update my phone software.

Just started happening to me today, on two different computers. I'm using ad blocker too but it doesn't matter.

I've always had problems on my phone and just gave up after awhile. I've never had problems on my computer until the past 48 hours. It is terrible. The entire screen goes white and it says, "waiting for _____." In most cases it says Facebook, but it has been other sites and even other threads. My ad blocker prevents it from loading, but this is still annoying.

Has anyone found out if this is being addressed? I notice this post started in July. I'm assuming there isn't a fix in the works since it has been months.
