July3-9...How Crowded will it be?

It will be extremely crowded. Only you know if it's worth it to you. As for me, I'd never go over a holiday unless that was the only time I could go all year.

Any time is Disney time! Can't wait, counting the days! ::MickeyMo

My spelling is way off tonight excuese and mistakes. Need to sleep but way too excited we leave in 4 1/2 hours for a two week trip ending with a week at Disney arriving on the 4th. Crowds may come and go but Disney is Disney. I aim for doing the things I want to do. Fast Pass helps me on my way. I also love to get an early spot for Parades and Fireworks and just look at all the funny people. You'd be amazed at what you can see just sitting and observing.

It's gonna be Grand.

Have fun every one.

We were there last year, and it was crowded starting the 2nd. Since this year the 4th is on a Sunday, instead of a Friday, and everyone has the 5th off, I don't know if you will see more crowds after the 4th or before the 4th. I'm guessing it will be split. Definitely the 3rd and 4th will be packed in the parks, crowds will probably lighten a little on the 5th and will be much better the rest of the week.

As far as the resorts, we stayed at the Dolphin and didn't notice it being too packed at the pool or restaurants but it's a HUGE resort.

We're going 7/6 - 7/13 by the way - hope to see you there with your lime green ribbon/button/home depot sticker/whatever!

We went once for a long weekend over July 4th and it was great! It was a few years ago right when the economy started going down the toilet though - it really wasn't that crowded. However, being at WDW over Independence Day was quite magical - what a way to celebrate. I think if you play it smart by getting up early and going to the parks, leaving for mid-day breaks, you'll be fine. Avoid the park that has EE days. It will be wonderful.

I know we're missing the actual 7/4 date on our trip - but it's not because we are concerned about crowds. We have to wait until 7/6 for work-related reasons. If that weren't the case, we would SO be there for Independence Day celebrating with the rest of the masses. Nothing like it.

CROWDED!!!! And HOT!!!! I think if you were going to go and just do the hotels or maybe a waterpark you would be ok. But as far as going in the parks?? I think I would skip it. Just my opinion!~!:)
