April 22nd 2008 - it was both the 10th Anniversary of the opening of Animal Kingdom and Earth Day. (I gave a bonus point to people who mentioned Earth Day)

The lady was Jane Goodall who was a consultant to Disney when they were planning the park.

The event was a Wild Decade that Simon Veness promoted on this site. The highlight of the event was being able to attend a CM presentation from Joe Rohde when he explained about all the different concepts they had come up with for the park.
