July park hours have been extended!! Can't wait.:Pinkbounc

Me too!

We're going to take advantage of the extended hours and E-Ride nights. We'll have three of those while we're there!!

Space Mountain here we come. Also have to beat my nephew's Buzz Lightyear high score of 699,671..he won't let any of us forget it.

36 Days to Go!

If MK is open till 10 pm , does anyone know what e-night hours would be?

It'll be the 3 hours after it closes. For 10pm it will last until 1am.

E-ride hours are the three hours after the park closes so it would be 10 pm - 1:00 am.

Thanks for the info on the park hours! We leave in 2 weeks, and the previous hours and lack of Spectromagic and Fireworks were upsetting to our son who loves both. I know with the lack on travel they had to cut some things, but if you want people to keep on coming back you must give them a reason. The new hours will make for a late e-ticket night on the 8th, so now we can plan our nap!

Thanks again!

Laura

I'm glad that July hours have been "extended" but think it's really sad that people get excited now when MK stays open until 10 pm, when just a few years ago it was open until midnight many nights, and you didn't have to PAY for 3 extra hours. Remember when, just a couple years ago, AK was open at 7 and stayed open until 8 pm? Now it opens at 9 (except for EE days) and closes much earlier. MGM doesn't stay open as late either.

I know Disney (and everyone else) has been hit hard by the economy the last couple years. It's just too bad they can't find a different way to cut costs. I look at it this way - every year I pay a bit more for a ticket, and every year a bit more gets taken away. They are alienating their faithful customer base. Maybe that's a reason less people are coming. They got tired of paying more for less each year. I wouldn't mind paying more each year (I know prices have to increase) if I got what I paid for last year, but that doesn't happen at Disney.

Sorry to get on my soapbox. I don't think I'm the only one who finds this irritating!

We were planning to do the eride night on the 8th as well!! But now it will be 11pm-2 am. Are they serious?

I don't know if we'll do it now. My hubby and I have been an 'old' married couple for too long I guess. We haven't seen 1:30 am on purpose in a loooong time. I doubt our 12 and 11 y.o. will want to stay that long either. IF we go, I guess I would take the younger 2 - 7 and 4 back to the hotel after an hour or so.

One minor complaint - could they add some evening hours at the water parks?

I think we should all take this a lesson learned and not get so upset when Disney releases the original park hours. :) Woohoo for those of you going in July! I'm leaving in 30 minutes!

Thanks for the info! I'm going now to check the hour changes!!:teeth:

I agree. It's light out until at least 8:30. This would give me more of a chance to get to the water parks.
