July packages, will we get info before we reach date of not getting a full refund?

To clear up any confusion:

1) Final Payment: It's true that you do not have to make final payment until 7 days prior to arrival until further notice. But to be fair, that was pretty much always the case. While the official due date for final payment is normally 30 days prior, Disney almost never cancelled unpaid reservations until a week before. Disney just made this policy official until further notice.

2) Cancellation Penalties: The most recent communication to TAs (from two days ago) states "To provide additional flexibility, we are waiving Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for reservations with arrivals through June 30, 2020." There is no mention of July trips.

While I am confident that Disney will ultimately extend the waiver in my second point to cover July trips, that can't be guaranteed. So for now, I have been informing my July clients of both of these points and then letting them make their own decision. It's a tough call, for sure.

It is reported on the dibb forum that the U.K. WDC (WDW‘s official travel agency in the U.K.) is refusing to accept final payments for July packages and instead offering people the option to rebook later in the year or cancel free of charge. This could be an indication that all July bookings will be cancelled or more likely, WDW’s way of controlling numbers by excluding much of the U.K. market.

UK foreign nationals are currently banned from traveling to the US. I wouldn't take this as an indication that WDW won't open for US residents.
