Closures and refurbishments

• Snow White’s Scary Adventures - 6/8/09-7/3/09
• Souvenir 66 and Corn Dog Castle close June 1, 2009 and may not be back until 2011. You can still get a corn dog fix at the red wagon near Plaza Inn.
• Dinosaur Jack’s Sunglass Shack is scheduled to close permanently on May 26th, 2009. It does not fit the new theming and while cute may be history.
• I was at DLR on April 24th and the Golden Zephyr was down for unscheduled maintenance. The reopening is not known at this time and I will check later to see its status.
• Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill is closed from June 18th to September 14th. Start date will be once the Lucky Fortune Cookie is reopened then Cocina Cucamonga will be rethemed
• Enchanted Cottage is the snack bar at the Fantasyland Theater wher Princess Fantasy Fair is located. It is scheduled to be closed July 29 to November 17, 2009.
• The Vineyard Room is closed until October 3, 2009
• July 27th is the beginning of a year long closure of the Orange Stinger while it is getting a refurbishment, new theming, and a covered walkway.

The chances of getting a lower, or AP, or promo rate at The grand is pretty much 0 chance. I asked as I was booking my 3 night stay at DLH what the chances were, and being A. it's summer/peak season they don't offer the discounted promos/AP rates till more towards Sept/off season. My 3 night stay at DLH July 27th-30 is running me about 980 somthing, and thats standard room. If anyone wants to meet up, and hang out at the park ride some rides, shop, do some tigger tail, lunch is my treat let me know ASAP so i can grab PS at like Blue B, Carnation Cafe, or Cafe Orleans let me know. I'm going solo, and nervous. We can even meet for goofy's b-fast my treat. Would love to have another diser with me to hang out with. I NEED the magic as my grandfather passed away this weekend. His funeral was yesterday, and I can't sleep just cry. Please let me know if you would like to meet up with another disney fanatic who is going solo.
