Have a safe trip over. The weather here looks to be set good for the rest of the week and into next week as well. However that could all change tomorrow.

We didn't book through DCL though, we did it with the bar itself so I doubt that they'll refund that for us.

We did too and are emailing them today to see if we can get an earlier time, we have changed it once already. I will let you know what happens.

thanks Deb & Jill - I'll make sure I have the right connector now

brief moment of panic this morninig Tim went to do on-line check-in & we had different seats from when he booked. They changed planes so the configuration is different but it all still works out OK

We're being picked up after dinner to get to the airport. Have all my papers & everything in order (at least I think I do)

Couple last minute things to do today, including sticking the stuff I forgot to pack yesterday in the suitcases. :headache: We ended up with 4 suitcases & will have a rollerboard, the boys have 1 backpack to share & I have my bag for carry-on. I still think its way too much, but Tim thought we did well

I still have that fear of getting to London & forgetting everything I've read over the last few months!

See everyone next week!

I have an excursion that ends at 12.30 and our reservation is for 1.30 so I don't have a lot of room for manuvering with mine, but it will be good to hear if they have any earlier ones. If not looks like I'll just have to loose my money if the ship is leaving early. I wont be happy about it though.

:goodvibes Safe travels everyone :goodvibes

Found our FE! I'm so excited :cool1: I was just about to run out to the store to get materials to make a non-sew one I saw on here but after ripping apart our bedroom I found it!

Now I can start planning on packing again! :rotfl2:

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe trip to Dover :)

My DH and I are flying out to London tomorrow night - so excited! We still have so much to do, though (which is what happens when you have your do-it-yourself wedding the week before you go on a major 2 1/2 week trip haha). We need to pack, buy odds and ends, copy documents, compile FE gifts, and plan what we are doing in London, Berlin, and Oslo - yikes! Hopefully it will all get done in the next 26 hours.

First the good news....my parcel with the FE gifts arrived here at Paris!!! 10 days to get here....cutting it close Mr./Ms. Postal Carrier...

now just to let you know it is HOT HOT here....over 90 degrees today and hotter tomorrow....so if anyone is going to be here before the cruise be warned....

When you ask for ice in your cup they look at you weird! and give you one cube...

The park here is not as nice as Disneyland or Disney World, IMHO...but the Pirates ride seems to be better then the other two parks. No added Jack Sparrow inside but the que is nice and the ride is nicer too we think.
People smoke everywhere even in lines for the rides. Even under the signs that say no smoking! People cut in line and IMHO, again, are rude. They go to counter service for food and leave their garbage on the tables. Can't even walk two feet to throw it away! People walk everywhere you wouldn't see people walking at the parks in the states. On the lawns, standing on railings and even sitting in the fountains! Yes, we saw people putting their children in the fountains to sit! I know it's hot but it was so dirty...The park is not that well maintained either. There are broken walkways everywhere. Didn't see one person sweeping either of the two days we did the parks. Very littered and of course lots of dirty tables. The food was very very expensive....hamburger 19.5 euros! Starbucks had the cheapest food...

It is our second time here and we like the states better. They do have Rockin Roller Coaster which Disneyland doesn't have and it's the same basically as WDW. Tower is not as good as either California or WDW. Very wimpy. Space Mountain is more violent then the other parks, thought my head was going to snap off!

Yesterday we were in Paris and had a grand day. rode the train in and went to the Arch de triumph. We climbed the 285 spiral step staircase to the top. Fantastic views. Worth the climb.
We ate lunch on the Champs-Elysees, best meal yet, and then walked to the Eiffel Tower. Went to the top there too and it was unbelievable as well!....took a couple of hours in line but well worth it. Going to try and rent a car and go to Versailles tomorrow or the next.

It's supposed to be 93 tomorrow! We are looking forward to cold now!

Have a safe flight everyone....see you all soon....

We're still at home too. We leave Monday for Dover. I'm trying to get all the packing done today, but I'm just not in the mood to do it.

Today is our travel day too! Heading to O'hare at noon and will be in London till Monday when we head to Dover.

Can't believe this day has arrived! So much planning over the past 19 months, and I have to say it has been wonderful sharing with all of you here. You have all provided so many tips and information which has been invaluable. Not to mention making so many cruise friends!

So, I wish everyone a safe trip and SEE YOU ALL IN DOVER AND ON THE MAGIC!!!!! :grouphug::cheer2::cheer2:
