July 4th fun at the Fort trip report

We were on the dining plan and they use 2 credits there, it was very good but we planned it more for the fireworks and it was worth it. I think the prices were like $28 and upward for entrees, I know 4 drinks cost us around $34. It was just one of things you have to do at least once,we booked it at the 180 day wndow to make sure we got in.

We have eaten at both California Grill and Narcoosee's for Fireworks. We were at CG for Free Dining and we loved the experience. However, even with the two dining credits, by the time we bought appetizers, and drinks our bill was about $70 with the tip.

In February, we went to Narcoosee's!!! WOW!! Is all I can say. The food was spectacular, the service was incredible, and it was a more intimate experience. Yes, we dropped over $200 for dinner for two with our TiW discount, but I felt we got way more for our $200 at Narcoosee's than we did for $70 and two dining credits at CG.

Excellent TR. I remember those days. Seems like a hundred years ago when we tent camped, nice memories though. But I think it's like parenthood, for the young.
Now we gripe about not being able to figure out how to get the surround sound to work on the outside TV. But I bet you're having just as much fun, or even more, than we are.
Hopefully we'll catch up with you on your next visit either at the Fort or on the bus.
