July 4th Fireworks

Does Universal/IOA or City Walk set off fireworks for the 4th of July. We have never been to Universal and have a trip planned this year. Just wondering if we can stay at the park and watch or do we need to make dinner reservations at the Poly and watch MK on their beach.

Had a look at univacations program and it says a dazzling and patriotic 4th July celebration including fireworks and entertainer. Was needing to know same thing as we aare planning to stay on site around about then

I know in the past since the WWOHP construction they only had Universal 360 in the studios lagoon but I hope they have some kind this year cause we will arrive on July 4th

Was there last year for July 4th, crowds were manageable for the attractions, considering. We were going to be staying for fireworks, we were talking to a couple of the US workers and they were saying it was going to be really spectacular, but unfortunately, we got stuck in a heavy rainstorm between Toon Lagoon and Jurassic Park with no cover at about 6pm and were so thoroughly drenched we decided to go back to our hotel for the evening.
It's a shame because that was the whole reason we had booked our trip at that time.

They have had limited fireworks since construction on WWHP and RRR, mainly in Universal studios although you can watch them from City walk, hopefully they will be back to normal for this July.This was the end of them,
