I have jokingly said all along that if I win the Lotto I will tag the last Baltic and the first Med after our cruise on to make a month long trip.... Still time for my numbers to come up!

Welcome aboard, lucky you getting to do both,I was so hoping to be able to do both also, but it did not work out.
I remember reading about your train trip to get to the PC cruise, sounds like you had a great trip.

Good to see that some of you booked and got your Palo and excursions now we are at the 105 days mark.
From here on in the time is hopefully going to fly by!

I booked the train from Victoria Station to Dover for July 29 at 10:22I used NationalExpress.com and there were no fees. Of course took forever as my MC never seems to work for foreign transactions which is a pain as my MC has the annual travel insuance plan.
Now I have to think about the London Eye, everyone I talk too says it is a must, but I hate to prepay something and then we get there and the girls are too tired to do anything.

Awesome that you were able to book all your excursions and dinners. We have to wait until May 1 - but I will also be ready at midnight to book

Our family from California will be joining you! We are a family of four - our son is 9 (almost 10 by the time of the cruise) and our daughter is 8. This will be our 6th Disney Cruise. We can't wait! Since we are Gold, we were able to book everything a couple of days ago. Palo Dinner, Brunch and High Tea were all still available for all of the times. For excursions, a couple of things - the Lisbon Highlights tour in the afternoon was no longer available. Also, in Cadiz, the White Villages and the Mt. Villages tours both leave in the afternoon and run from approx. 1:00-7:00 p.m. We like to do early excursions, so we chose something else. If anyone wants me to check excursion times, let me know.

Welcome aboard, it is exciting to hear people booking excursions, it makes it seem so much closer. What excursions did you book, my kids are similar ages to yours and I am always interested to see what other kids enjoy?
There was a day last week, that the Canadian Legion is pushing to have a special poppy made to commemorate Vimy Ridge, like the Nov 11 day poppy, so we were talking about WW2 and my oldest was very interested in D day, but I think those excursions would be too long of a day, so I am looking for 4-5 hour excursions.

We chose the Beaches of Normandy (7:45-1:30); Half Day at Santiago de Compostela (10:45-4:30); Lisbon Highlights (9-1:15); Cadiz City Walking Tour (10:15-1:45); and Rock Tour (8:15-10:15). We generally try and stick with the shorter excursions too. My son has been reading up on the D-day beaches and is really excited. This is something they will eventually study in school, so we thought it would be great for them to see in person.
