The Med cruise in 2007 was my favorite cruise ever! I believe that once the two new ships are handling the Caribbean routes DCL will be doing a lot more European cruises, and probably lots of interesting ones (I would certainly think they would do the Baltic again).

Good Afternoon

Wow it is Friday again, the girls are not out of school till the end of June, but that end of year hectic rush has begun.:upsidedow

I have been busy ready up on London hotels:eek: there are so many and so expensive and so few seem to have rooms that have 2 double beds, anyone have any suggestions? I think I am more confused than when I started reading. I have booked a precruise DCL hotel but I am hoping to be able to find air and hotel at a savings

Anyone wanting to stay in Sheraton hotels you can book rooms online for July 2010.

What do you do with luggage on train travel in Europe? Odds are my husband will not come with us, so it will be me and the girls. I am used to air travel alone with the girls, check your luggage in and that is it till you get there, but on a train, I have this fear that I will lose one of the girls while I am trying to get the luggage on/off at a short train stop.

Are you travelling with two girls and how many luggages? Where do you flight to Heathrow or Gatwick?

I am sure you will be fine because two girls aged seem okay... they will help you?

Are you planning to stay in London for few days?

Yes it will be me and both girls. We will probably have 2 suitcases and then carry on bags. I just remember from my summer with a eurorail pass that some of the stops were really short and there was not a lot of time when the train pulled into the station to get on/off the train.

I do have a precuise DCL hotel booked which would eliminate those worries but I am sure it would be less expensive to book on your own and take the train to Dover. It would be really nice if DCL was offering transfers for places other than the airports.

I imagine we will fly into Heathrow, not sure if we will come in on Wednesday or Thursday, I can't imagine flying all that way and not spending a day in London at the minimum, but getting time off work is always a problem.

Oh well over a year to come up with a plan.

By the way if you use the Disney transfer's life will be easy on the other hand they are fairly pricey as are the hotels through Disney!:scared1::eek::headache:
