Seems like there was some discussion at the beginning of the thread about a "name" for the cruise. It would be great if one was selected because we will be visiting Downtown Disney and I can experiment at the new t-shirt shop using the cruise name.

Yes, I mentioned that my DD could possibly do it, however, she's probably too swamped right now with a possible job change, so if anyone else has a good idea........bring 'em on!!

We just got back from the 7 day Eastern, and had a wonderful cruise and I am thinking that I really want to do this cruise. I booked it several months ago but I was not all that excited, but now I am.

We have some friends that want to do the RCCL Jewel Baltic cruise that returns to Harwich on July 30 and if things work out we may do that one and then this cruise, but does anyone know if it would be possible to get off the Jewel on July 30 at the port in Harwich, and then get to Dover for this departure? I would assume that we would have to use a car service and by my quick research it looks like it would be about a 3 hour drive. I have tried to convince our friends to do the DCL Baltic cruise but it is about $5,000 more for the same cruise, so that is not an option if we want to cruise with our friends.

I would saying about 2 to 3 hours depend on traffic... I think it should be okay because DCL is leaving about 4 pm?

We have been looking at RCCL before we decided to cancel DCL Baltic and noticed that it is much cheaper but we decided to book this cruise as feel right for childrens as they are not bother with ports!!! They like Spain...

Really? You are thinking of not going on the Baltic? Why not just do that one as a couples-only cruise and let your daughters meet up with you for this one

Well there may be some mitigating circumstances next summer we'll see. (My oldest is interviewing for a permanent position next Tuesday and her significant other is having one today........if all these things come together, we'll be planning something else next summer???)

So far this week, I found out that my two youngest DDs will be studying next summer. I'm not going to give up my ressie for either booking. There is still a chance we would go with the oldest on 7/18........and possibly with maybe one of them for this cruise 7/30.......I'm just going to wait and see......

In the meantime, I may have to start researching a Xmas week trip for all of us, since that may be the only time, we'll all be off at the same time this year..........

The more I mull it over, it does look better.......I don't think my DD is "ready" to plan something so quickly and w/o that pressure our plans look more promising.......

This summer, I've already lost one to grad school, over the last few years we've missed one at times due to college schedules. It's always better when we're all together so we have to keep trying.......

I am too, my DH isn't exactly as enthusiastic.......however, we'll be married 30 years next summer and in lieu of a party, the back to back would be so AMAZING, esp. if the girls could join us for at least one of the two cruises......I'm holding on, believe me!!

I have 3DD.....the oldest is now interviewing AGAIN tomorrow for another opportunity, she is currently working but looking for something better, her BF DID get a job and started this week!! .....my second and third DDs just informed me that they will both NOT be able to do the Baltic next summer and I'm not sure about this trip??? One is starting grad school in Miami in May (she'll graduate in May and plans to move to Florida that weekend).....and the "baby" is freshman and has to go to school thru the summer next year......

My husband's workmate had baby girl last Sunday morning as their third girls just like you

My mother in law texted me today that she and her husband want to come on this Cruise...

I am going to contact DU to see what prices for them...
