July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

I was able to book the Premier Inn Dover for July 29 tonight , so I think the plan is going to be, fly Air Canada on a red eye July 27, spend July 28 in London and then in the afternoon of July 29 take the train to Dover.

Not a lot of time in London, but I imagine the girls are going to be too excited about the cruise that they will not be into sightseeing in London.

Hello Everyone

Scottishwee,

Thank you so much for the information on the Premier Inn Dover Central. I followed your lead and booked a room for us the night before with breakfast. The reviews of the hotel were mainly positive. Good Price:yay:

Keep the excellent travel trips coming for those of us traveling long distances. This certainly cuts down on having to do research.

Must be 100 degrees here in Sunny Florida Today:cool1:

I second that!

I am so envious at how well organised you all are. That deal in Dover at the Premiere Inn looks good.:banana:Showed it to DH who is NOT a planner :rotfl2: and he can't even think about booking yet! Will tempt him again in a couple of weeks. Like you, we will be travelling down the day before. The train journey doesn't look too bad just the changes in London which mean travelling from Kings Cross to I think Victoria. I don't think I could face the underground with suitcases! I think we'll get a cab for that bit! (Told you I was a planner! :lmao:)

We too have sunshine today  DH is planning a barbeque.

Just make a reservation and then you can always cancel it later if you find something else, they do not charge the credit card until you actually check in.

Hi everyone, just to let You all know we just came back from a 7-night Western Carribean Cruise, and we booked onboard: 10 % off the price + $ 200,- onboard credit. So Scottishwee: we will be meeting again next year !!! :thumbsup2

It was a very warm one... But we had a lot of fun, and Castaway Cay was very nice. We went to Serenity Bay while Manon was with the teens. It was perfect wheater until 2 PM, and then we had a real thunderstorm. So we were back on the Magic around 3 PM, everybody silk and wet. But I suppose you're wet anyhow when you're on Castaway Cay :rotfl2:

Hot day here in Belgium right now: over 30°C... :scared1:

Fish Extender Exchange.

Is anyone interested?:thumbsup2

I will volunteer to organize, but I would like;

a)keep to small groups, example if 20 cabins participate then split into 2 groups so you only have to deliver to 10 cabins.

b) no rules on when you can deliver you gift.

I organized one last December when I went solo and it was lots of fun, but I have not done one with the girls and I am sure they would enjoy it.

So if anyone is interested let me know.
