July 3/4 2020 MK Fireworks Dessert Parties - Watch Thread - UPDATE: NOW OPEN!!!

We can’t make ADRs just yet. Can anyone who is traveling for July 4th 2020 tell me if the Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties are already open for booking?

No they arent, the dates are there in blue but I was able to start booking on 27th December and they have just said no times available since then. Who knows when they will release them!!

We tried booking it this morning as well and checked with DVC member services and they were not seeing anything available on their end. I think last year it didn’t pop up for booking until the spring time.

Following along! I'm playing around with a 4th of July trip and just booked a room to secure the room type I want prior to discounts being released...and now of course that room is no longer available so I guess I played myself haha .

Seems like the advice is to do MK on 7/3 and Epcot on 7/4. Wonder if that holds true with HarmoniUS, hopefully they would do a special 4th of July tag. I'm already leary of the heat so not sure I could bear the crowds of MK on the 4th, even with a dessert party. If I can't make a dessert party happen I'll maybe try for CA Grill. I snagged a 9:35 on 7/3 so hopefully they would let me up a bit early if that's the case, otherwise I'll try to move it up a bit.

We did a dessert party on our most recent trip and now I'm spoiled, I don't want to be pushed by crowds ever again!

When I have some time later I want to scour the boards to see if I can figure out when the dessert parties opened for 7/3-4 in the past. Not that that means anything, but it would be nice to have some sort of frame of reference.

No one seems to be posting they got it for this year so I assume they haven't been released yet. Agh, the waiting game! I'm hoping to get an after fireworks party, I liked being able to decompress and eat sweets after rather than rush to finish them before .

Yeah, my recollection was that 7/3 and 7/4 were available at 180 this past year.

Although the party has wobbled back and forth in the past between being available/not available at 180 for these special 7/3-7/4 and 12/30-12/31 nights, so I may be mixing up years.

I guess this year’s 7/3-7/4 will be a waiting game....

This past NYE was made available somewhere in the 160/170 range if I recall correctly. I know we were watching like hawks back in July to book for 12/30. I’m waiting for 7/3. Hoping they do the post fireworks party that night.

It's only been a week of stalking and I am already growing weary. I have some busy days coming up and I just fear it will open for booking while I am otherwise engaged

Stalking for the 4th. We did the 4th last year and having the dessert party booked was truly a lifesaver. It was so busy around the hub right before the fireworks that the escort could barely get us through to the viewing area. Once in the viewing area it was great though! This year thinking of doing the terrace though.
