It was a beautiful day, by the way . . . a little cold with the wind when you just stood there for a while, but beautiful all the same . . .

Jule, thanks for the beautiful pictures! We had a lovely day too. It was good to hear from you again.

Helen, thanks for the thoughts on acupuncture. I don't know if Garry would go for that. He has such a dread of needles but if it were me I would go for most anything by now! I just refuse to comment on it any more. Sometimes it is easier that way, if you know what I mean!:confused3

Helen, when are you coming to WDW? It would be so nice if we could meet there.

The board for our November cruise just can't compare to our Med Cruise. I don't think anything ever will. Too special for words!

I am hoping to see Lynnise next month when we go to South Carolina to see our dd. We are going to try to get together on our way home. I hope it works out because it would be great to see her again. She will be in for a real treat because we will have Princess Jasmine with us!:lmao:

Well, close is a relative term -- it was on 50/51st and I'm on 88th, so not terribly close, but close enough . . . There are cranes everywhere and it always makes me nervous to go near/under them, and now I have an actual reason why . . .

Glad you are safe. I still was too close for comfort. Thanks for the great parade pics. For once the sun was actually out!!!!!:woohoo:

You can't beat NYC on St. Patty's day. My DH called me from the LIRR train last night and you could hear someone singing Danny Boy in the background. He said it was a great ride home. Ton's of people in kilts and everyone happy and singing thanks to Sir Guiness. Gotta love NY'ers!!!!

There are enough bars around here that I was able to still hear people singing, and even bagpipes on occasion, even after I got back from hearing the Chieftains at Carnegie Hall last night!:woohoo:

Hi everyone!

I'm around, just in a busy mode right now . . . a week from tomorrow the girls and I will go for a week at WDW . . . we saw a new B'way show today, "In the Heights" -- set in Washington Heights and with a Latin beat . . . lots of fun.

Love to everyone!

Hi
Sadly we wont be coming to USA or WDW until next year 2009.
The plan is to fly to NY and have 6 days or so there, then fly to WDW and have 3 days there and then we are booked on the 1st Aug Eastern cruise.
16 months 2weeks and counting :goodvibes

Helen,

Wow, that sounds like a great vacation!!!! We leave for the Tortola cruise on the 18th and are back on Sat. July 25, so the July 26, 27, or 28 looks good. It might be toward the end of your NYC stay, but we want to make sure that we meet you.

Love,
Maryann

That will be so great! I think the 26 or 27 will be best for us. I am really looking forward to it.

I will be asking for your advice later on this year when I will begin thinking about locations for hotels and things to see and must do's - I get excited every Saturday night when I watch CSI NY:rotfl:

Happy Easter all

Welcome Home, JoAnn:dance3: How neat to see Lynn and Keith. We were just talking about them and how wonderful to meet all of our great friends across the pond.

I hope we can come to New York in July, 09 to see Helen! What a treat that would be for as many of us that can to get together.:yay: . I don't think we will ever be able to book one cruise for all.

Happy Easter to everyone:grouphug:

That's probably true but at least if we can make mini-meets that would be cool! Lots to do for Easter, and I'm running out of steam tonight!:confused3

Hey Travel Channel was doing a show on Europe with Samantha Brown. She concentrated on Paris :cloud9: for the first one and doing Barcelona on the send 1/2 hour! Memories. :goodvibes

I think I picked the wrong country to visit! We're working on London/Rome to visit the girls in June. Oh, did I mention, we're selling our house to pay for all of our trips? JKJKJKJK..........:rotfl: Carpe Diem!!

Happy Easter all, but with our weather I think its Christmas, snow in the morning, hail and sleet today.:santa:

Yes, while I was watching BBC in Hamburg this week, I saw that GB was expecting inclement weather for Easter...........Happy Easter to all as well!:goodvibes

Hey Andrew....have you heard........my oldest DD23 is moving to London for next quarter! She's coming home for about 10 days and then back to Europe! Best wishes digging out tomorrow!!:goodvibes

That would be wonderful Harole Ann!!!! Maybe we can decide on a mini-meet for Sunday July 26. What do you think, JoAnn, Helen, Julie? We get back home from the Tortola cruise the day before.

Also, welcome home JoAnn! Can't wait to see pics.

Are you sure it's spring on your side of the pond Andrew? Snow? Although our middle states just got several inches too. We've been really lucky on the east coast.

Happy Easter to All!
