Europe is very very safe, of course like any destination in the world you need to take care, La Rambla in Barcelona is an example to take care for pickpockets, but do not worry and enjoy.

We also did the Mexican Riveria and that was a long flight! When did you go? We were end of June. We can't wait to see the Magic again either and that is what I keep telling myself too and I think that and a nice sleeping pill will get me through the flight!

Enjoy it I loved our halloween cruise a few years back weather was great at this time of year.

My Son and Daughter have had penpals through this site for the last few cruises with DCL.

He will be 8, very nearly 9 at the time of the cruise, she will be 11. They like to get to know a few children in advance so they have friends in the club.

Gretchen turns 11 on July 24th 2007. She is the smallest one in the picture below. This cruise will be our 9th Disney cruise and Gretchen always makes friends before hand.

We are on next weeks Western and we went swimming (indoor) last week with a family on that cruise....

Have a wonderful cruise! In 34 more days we will be heading for WDW as long as the doctor okay's by dd for the trip after his two heart cath's last month. We are keeping our fingers crossed because we don't see the doctor until 10 days before trip!

Still haven't gotten our passports but if I keep posting, I will do it! We have had many soccer (European football) this Fall so I've been booked each weekend! My DD16 is playing every w/e.

I have an idea, let's have a race!! I could not do my passports yet (my husband and son have them as they did mission work in London 2 years back) I can not apply for them until we get back from the cruise as I understand you turn in your birth certificates and then they send them back with the passports. I plan to do them when we get back week of the 12th....

We can see who gets their passports first!!

I received a letter from DCL today saying that the excursions will be released in December. It also said that there's more info on the port in Barcelona on the DCL website. I'm so excited! I can't wait to see the excursions.

Wow, thx for the info about the excursions letter..............we did not yet apply for the passports, my youngest is in a million soccer tournaments for college and every w/e we are running around for that! I plan to pull everyone for the passport next w/e.....this thread is keeping me on track!!!!

My DH had to renew his passport- we sent in the check month ago and haven't received anything back yet.

My son got engaged last week. The wedding is Aug 25- next year- 21/2 weeks after we come back from the Med cruise! He's getting married in St. Augustine, Fla. He's still coming on the cruise with us but we have a lot of planning to do- between the cruise and the wedding and his college graduation in April- we will be busy.

Congratulations on the engagement, try not to get too stressed with the plaaning, enjoy it. I think its perfect timing you will be nicely chilled out from the cruise. Just make sure all details are finalised before you go.

Sadly we have not had a letter about excursions - hopefully soon though
