We're leaving on the same day.........apparently, YOU'VE been getting ready while I'VE been getting pirates and posts.........

There's something wrong with this picture!:cool2:

COME ON JOANN GET ON WITH IT
That was just a gentle hint of encouragement. I needed to get done as I'm still working full time and I don't finish till late Thursday and my DH has just informed me that we need to leave the house at 3:15am Friday morning :scared1: So if I nod off during dinner at the 4Gats or snore too loudly through the magic fountain show at least I have a good excuse as I don't have a long transatlantic flight to sleep on AND I'm expected to go to the Nou Camp when we arrive in Baarcelona :scared1:

For those who are staying in Barcelona prior to the cruise, what time are you planning to get to the port on Saturday morning ?

I hope Sandra and Lilly had a nice day at the beach. :beach: It would not have been a nice one here---lots of rain; however, it has cleared now, so guess where we are going??? to the last baseball game for us! I do hate to see it end as I enjoy it so much, but we will have to call to find out tournament results or look for email.

I have been packing today and I told dh I have no idea how anyone packed and did it with 32# total without using a brown paper bag for their suitcase!:rotfl: I have already pulled some things out, and I think there will be some more to get pulled before I am finished.:crowded:

I hope there were no flight delays today or problems for any of our travelers.

JoAnn, How do you start a blog? Someone had a great idea to have clues on the blog for Lilly to get her gifts each day. But that means I have to have a blog.

BTW. We didn't end up at the beach. We went into Boston to CHinatown for lunch and then downtown shopping. About as far away from the beach as possible. We did have a nice time together. Lilly is Chinese so we do like to keep her in touch with that world in some small way so trips like this are great for us.

But now I have things to do.

Congratulations on the Pirate (very fluffy)
Congratulations to Jan and Howie on receiving their passports.

Safe travels to everyone,

See you soon,
Sandra

"But it's hard to turn our intentions into constructive behavior as energetic Mars forms a tense square with nebulous Neptune. We may feel a bit lost and not know where to go, like a ship adrift on a windless sea."

So now it ALL makes sense!:happytv:

I've just read your blog...it's brilliant, very funny, please keep it up :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sandra--Sounds like a really nice day with Lilly. You just can't imagine how happy Jan & Howie are about the passports and also how excited they are to meet you & Gerry too and everyone else...you all will love them, they are so much fun!

For those who are staying in Barcelona prior to the cruise, what time are you planning to get to the port on Saturday morning ?
I have Disney transfers so I'm hoping we'll go directly to the airport once we've collected our luggage........depending on flight delays and weather....we should arrive early Saturday morning........I guess I should check this out to see what we can expect? Has anyone else heard how this worked out for "sailaway day" arrivals?:confused3

As far as I can see, Barcelona is hot and sunny about 30c all through to Saturday no clouds reported but it has been windy here all week.

I will be very happy with that weather report! And with this comment, I think I am at #500!!!!!!! Please don't tell dh because he would think it is at least 5000 as he thinks I talk to you people far more than I talk to him!:rotfl:

Have to get ready for the baseball game! :cheer2:

Around noon or so . . . we plan to see La Sagrada Familia right as it opens at 9 and then catch a taxi from our hotel to the port between 11:30 and 12 . . .

I would expect your reservation shows a transfer: airport to port. So you would find the Disney greeters at the airport and they'll get you to the ship. You would do the check-in at the port which, according to the reports I've read, goes remarkably smoothly.
