The tap water is fine to drink on the ship. I believe the water package is for bottles to take on excursions with you instead of buying them individually. We'll be ordering the water package.

Just arranged a taxi to pick us up @ 4:30 am! our first flight is 6:55 to heathrow. fingers x

Then 9:25 Heathrow to BCN

If all goes to plan we should land in Barcelona 12:25 (thier time )

Helen I hope all goes smoothly for you. The weather looks set to be a better day tomorrow so hopfully there won't be any delays.

I have to share a conversation I've just had with my husband Paul

DH: What's that ?
ME: That will be our fish extender
DH: What you doing to it
ME: Decorating it as the elephants on it don't exactly look very Disney do they ?
DH: No I suppose not really.
Paul (DH) then studies the unfinished fish extender for a few seconds before asking
DH: What do people do then, put little presents in them them?
ME: Yes...you don't think that this is just a normal cruise do you ?
DH: NO THIS IS DEFINATETLY NOT JUST A CRUISE

I think this just sums up what this cruise has become certainly for me and I guess for alot of you as well

HI well its the final hours on the board for me.

Done most of the packing, although the carryon stuff is all spread out on the dining room table. There is absolutly no point in me packing it yet as I would only have to get it out and check it a 100 times or so.

I am a constant checker

The only thing I cant seem to find are some of our TSA locks for the cases - thier bright green and pink!

Helen...Im sooooo excited for you..but Im going to miss you tomorrow!! We are leaving New York on Wednesday at 8:30 pm- I am still unsure if I am going to take the laptop, so I pray I make in time for dinner on Friday!!! Just look for the spinning top!!!!

Same here- Ours keeps hitting DH in the head every time he walks into the kitchen as I have it hanging in the doorway because I love it so much. I have also used it as countdown with little treats for Carley each day this past week!!! This truly has been an amazing place!

Once again, I would call and double check...............I'm not sure, that's just what happened to me............maybe it's the website again? GL!

Kudos to DCL as they got us booked back on the Erice and Segesta excursion again! Beware! Linked reservations CAN change your excursions!

Apparently many guest have requested a feature to make sure they have enough seats on an excursion for all linked members. They said I am the first that this has happened to.

Anyway, like any good Disney story, This one had a happy ending!

iF YOU NEED TO PLUCK, PUT THEM IN YOUR CASE

Wow - they are just always in there and I have had them for years. Can't get rid of them. Will make sure I put them in luggage w/little scissors. I don't want to take any chances. I always get stopped for something (except this last trip). Last three trips - rolls of quarters, little scissor and yes, a knife (long story - I did not know it was left in my soft sided cooler from a picnic/beach outing).

QUICK HELLO FROM BARCELONA

No I hadnt forgoten you all, but this hotel didnt have internet until tonight and I couldnt find an alternative.
Quick summary.

For thoose staying here my apartment is gtreat its on two floors four beds two tv´s mini bar two bathrooms. Good location, thats the room.

We are in the middle of everything here 5 ins to laca Catulana.

Bee to the hard rock twice, if you havent booked the wait time was 1.45 mins first night 35 mins tonight.

Weather Saturday rain on arrival and cold!Windy
Sunday rain am Sun came out 5pm.
Today Hot 28c Still windy.

Bus touristic very good.
Eat local furst light in gothic area.
Been around all the hotspots last two days o all three tourisitc bus routes
Each day 2 cruise ships in the harbour
Everything seems a bit expensive bar Hard rock!

My hotel ressies were fine they are well organised here, but the internet was down hence no response to anyones e.mails

Going to Monseratt Tuesday the all in ticket, with 10% discount from bus tourist.

This keyboard is hard so sorry on mistakes and typos

This is slow and I lost connection just then.

Went to the Magic fountains Saturday and Sunday nights shows at 9.30pm and on the half hour.

The music only lasts about 12 mins but the fountains continue after that until the next show.

Very busy get there eary.

Went to Tibito today by tram 100 years old and rack railway up the mountain good views now the rain has gone.


Starbucks one every block, and McDis everywhere.

Gothic area has best Local food.

Airport L Prat is big we arrived 2 hours late as BA plane back from Pisa was late, no annoucements had to ask. Luggag took about 40 mins, I had pre booked driver, he was in VIP area to collect us and we were out of airport in mins and driving to barca after dealy and the rain was good.
