I bought a few more toiletries and medications............I found some rolled Charmin so I guess I won't be stealing it from the stateroom after all!

I'll try to take a picture of it and put it on our blog later.......we're off to the Police concert............happy packing to all!!

Unfortunately one woman was killed, and two were injured so badly they may not make it . . . about 30 injured less seriously. However, it looked far worse than it turned out to be. Subway/train service is messed up at Grand Central, though, which will affect many.

There's a labyrinth of pipes for various things underground and it's amazing things like this don't happen more often. We are serviced for heating in the winter by those very steam pipes, which are huge, under tremendous pressure, and old.

I did read in the Times this morning that a few people went to a police officer just before it blew and reported it was hissing and steaming . . .

Saturday is normal rain thats ok, tomorrow isnt predicted as a' little' bad weather, the south east of England looks like getting a lot of water!!

PALOS BRUNCH

I am assuming that everyone who is booked on my Sunday champagne group brunch is still going and a reminder the start time is 10.30am prompt. Suggest you have a light breakie before.

If anyone was to drop out please let me know as I will reconfirm on Saturday 28th in the afternoon on the cruise.

The nominal cost is $10 per person, you get your own bill and can add your own tip. Its really going to be great to be in the private room and I hope all those coming are going to have a great time.

I made a big mistake yesterday while doing yard work! I emptied a bag of Hershey's cocoa chips for landscaping into a small area near my patio. I never thought that Princess Jasmine would be attracted to it! I was so wrong! The smell could make you just melt and I am sure she feels the same, but every time she goes out now, she stops to take a nibble of cocoa! I know chocolate is not good for dogs, but I can tell you that it will not make this one sick! After the big rain last night, it even made it smell better!
