Don't worry, it will be a breeze. Most people feel very cold after surgery, and shake. You are not actually cold but your mind thinks you are. I am certianly one of those people. I let them know about this before I go in. And that I will desire a lot of blankets, and if possible, to curl up into the fetal position. For whatever reason, that helps me.

I also like to take a blanket, just one, and pull it over my head to close out all light. I can be sensitive to light, at any time not just after surgery, but it is even worse then. In fact, I am so sensitive that I must wear sunglasses when out in the sun or under bright lights.

Hi All,
Busy weekend with fun food functions Fri and Sat, and niece's birthday cake on Sunday. Darn weight scale is going the wrong way!

Today was productive. We finally got airfare nailed down (I know, those of you that booked months ago are gasping right now). I usually don't wait, but DW thought prices would go down. Ha!

Anyway, we're flying Air France from home to Cincinatti to CDG to BCN arriving 2:50pm 27JUL. If we're not too wiped out we'll try to meet everyone at the fountain that evening. We decided to stay at the Hilton Diagonal Mar and booked on our own through HiltonHonors (thus, not eligible for DCL transfer from airport to hotel). So, any suggestions for transport from airport to hotel?

No way I can keep up with all of these posts, nor will I be getting any pirates soon from my dismal amt of posts. You guys are too funny.

Don't get me wrong, i totally understand the business logistics. It's just another sign though of times changing. heck, all the US car makers are going bankrupt and closing shop.

Hershey though was one of the companies that actually went through the depression, staying above water, and coming out ahead. I had to do an economics paper on this in HS. The theory is that in down times, everyone eats chocolate. My added opinion is that it can't happen again because now they are not the monopoly, and there is far better chocolate out there.

But thanks for the laugh. Getting up at 5 am and reading that was funny.Now to just prep for my demo at 7.

I like the chocolate during down time theory. I definitely eat chocolate when I'm feeling down. That cheers me up and puts me in the mood to eat more chocolate.

Anyone get their refund yet from Disney when they downgraded to category 12?

I wonder when we will know what cabin we are in? I'm thinking we'll know about a month out.

Yep, showed up last week. I'd already paid the bill, so now I either have to ask Amex for the cash, or maybe I'll just leave it there to cover expenses onboard...

I'm still stunned that they gave us this deal.

So how many suitcases is everyone bringing? DH says we should just bring one . I'm thinking two for sure. I'll try really hard for one but what I might do is fit one suitcase insid another and see if I can get away with that. So have one going and two coming back.

Haven't decided for sure yet. Either one larger suitcase + carryon, or a smaller suitcase with a duffel + carryon.

Yea, I know. Seems like they are just losing money on us rebooking. I wonder how many new customers they are actually picking up?

I thought they were losing money on the Panama Canal cruise too. Seemed like everyday was something special: the CC gifts, usually a little gift each night at dinner, the special entertainment, the lithos and the limited Ariel print. I was going nuts. I wish they had the Ariel print in tube, it was tough scrambling for a tube to get it home. It is so beautiful.

Hi Everyone- - thanks for missing me! I was so excited to meet Anna and Wendy yesterday-!! I felt as if Ive known them for years-!! Both my husband and myself feel like we know Wendy, but we cant place our finger on it. I hope to have everyone here for a Pre Cruise BBQ !!
I haven't had time to catch up on all the posts- wow, now I know what it feels like when you miss a day !
I came home early because my husband will be taking Chloe( our cat) to the vet to be put down tonight. Im having a tough time with this one- cant eat or sleep- and sob uncontrollably every-time I look into her eyes.
I wonder why cats and dogs weren't made to live longer ? I am putting this on my list of questions for when I meet the "Big One" in heaven.. also on that list is the purpose of HOT FLASHEs!!!!!! - I still must reply to some posts about my flashes when I regain my composure!
Anyway- say a little prayer for us tonight- we need it!
