I forgot to add that with the 10 pages of posting - I did not receive 1 email notification. Anyone have the same thing happen?

How or where do you see how many posts are on this thread?

Laura taught me today - not sure i wanted to know.

Not sure if this is the best way, or the way that everyone uses, but...

From the Cruise meet page that lists all the Cruise meet Threads, is a 'Replies' Column. Click on the number of replies and it will give you a breakdown in a pop-up. If you have a pop-up blocker on, it may not show.

Edit -

OK - when you are doing a lot of doc your brain goes places. I think what you were actually asking for was the number of threads, not who did what.

That information is posted as a link on the top right of each message. It's in the title bar space. So if you gave your message a title - this number would show to the right of that title.

Gotta to go to bed now
Have a good evening everyone across the pond.

Wow - I just noticed that a few threads are well into the 5 digits on the number of posts.

I wonder if they suddenly jumped because of the pirate thing? I understand it was an idea that spawned from the PC cruise thread.

I know I've never posted so many at once before, but it's really just cause i don't want to do all this work.

Hershey, PA? or CA? I can only imagine if they came all the way out here from NY they must be a pretty good team.

PA - They are good - not that good ;) NJ, NY and PA are as far as elementary go. High School travel a bit more and farther (including WDW).

Does anyone have an idea as to how many young adults are aboard around our DD's age - turning 21 on this cruise. She loved the Teen-club when she was younger and felt very disappointed after she turned 18 and had nothing available to meet other's her age. We were on the Eastbound Panama and after mentioning the situation to the Cruise Director, he discussed the situation with her and the 'College Club" a venue and time for 18-25's to meet was born and was very successful ..... wonder if it's still going? As this is her celebration cruise too we'd really like to make sure she has a good time!

My DDS will be 23, 20 & 17.....we've been there!! It's very awkward and I hope the Magic has done a better job with this group since we were onboard 2 years ago. One of the reasons we tried another line was b/c my girls were frustrated about this issue. However, when we sailed another line, MY GIRLS SAID THEY MISSED THE MAGIC!! So we're back and very hopeful that the girls will have stuff to do!! At least our group has each other, after the DISmeet, hopefully, that will give them a headstart!!

Thank you. I learn something new everyday :)

I've been meaning to ask you what the snail ticker was for. I thought maybe you were going to walk to Barcelona.

Could you explain this part again - just not getting it:confused3

Of course, I'd be happy to.

Everyone is getting excited over Pirates because they are posting the ##00 post to the thread.

To see how many posts we have, I recommend.

Step 1 - make sure you are viewing in Linear Mode (if not already)
Display mode menu - then Linear mode
That should make all the posts appear one after another, in order by date and time.
Step 2 - Each message is bordered with a title bar, the color varies depending on which forum you are in. It might also be something that you can edit for you alone, just never looked. Mine is blue, and in this title bar the date and time are in a dark blue small font. Next to this is the title. I've made this one just for you "All for you kidcoos3. Look right >>>>>"
Step 3 - Look to the right of the title, you might have to scroll right depending on your monitor and viewing settings for your browser. The horizontal scroll bar should automatically appear for you.
You should find a number that appears as a bold font, and is preceded by the pound symbol (#). So an example will be #3500. this number also happens to be a link, you could select this link and view just that post on it's own. As opposed to the default of linear.

I hope that helped. (I'm called for dinner - love my hubby. He cooks too!)

-Carrie (who really needs to finish her work.)

We did the mex 7 day in 2005, we spent the week before in LA and DL, then a week post cruise driving up the coast to San Francisco

We're looking for ideas for a week before this one in 2008, so all you west coasters if you have any ideas let me know.

Love ya, Lynn, go to Vegas!!!

Thanks Laura, for posting the method for checking numbers of posts, I thought Andrew had a pen and paper and some sort of tally chart next to his computer

I can find the # of posts, but how DOES HE COPY IT??:confused3 :surfweb:

Anyone else have their paypal kicked back? I sent payment to Kyla via pay pal and it says it was rejected because her acct doesn't accept funds from a credit card we keep on file there. Any other way to send the funds? Anyone else have a problem?

Kyla if you are watching, what should I do?

Maryann

Of course you can call me Lynn my DIS name was very unimaginative because I didn't really realise what I was doing when I signed up.

Same here, HOW CAN I CHANGE IT NOW????? :upsidedow
