anyone get a room yet? or are we still in the gty category 12? I keep checking. DCL said soon about 2 weeks ago. I bet they wait til 30 days out before they assign rooms. It still amazes me that people are still booking from the response here on our thread. I never thought we would get these late cruisers. I hope they get the excursions they want.

Well, I'm really beginning to stress out.
First, I'm the trial secretary on a big agility show at the end of this month. I thought I got over the worse in terms of processing entries (almost 400!) and then got 40 emails last night of changes that people want to make. So I didn't get any work done that I was hoping to do so that I could get confirmations out. And I really need to get them out this week.
Second, for some reason I signed up for an extra doggie class. I justified it by saying that I would drop two of my others ones in anticipation of the cruise coming up. However, the other two don't end for two weeks. So now, I have class Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Then I signed up for barn practice about a month ago on Saturday. And my sheep herding instructor finally returned from her hiatus (puppies) and so have lessons on Sunday.
Third, time is flying. The cruise is almost here and I haven't order some things online that I wanted for the trip, like ticket to the Tower of London and buying some euros (I have to order it since my bank doesn't carry it).

Boy, I really know how to do it to myself.
At least I'm taking tommorrow off from work. My dog need a root canal, so I hope to catch up on some of this stuff.
This is not a rant, cause I love staying busy, but sometimes I overdo it.

Well, not good news. Maybe I should call again. They said they will assign rooms as late as a week before the cruise and will send out the luggage tags a week to 10days before the cruise. I asked about those of us who start our vacation a week before the cruise, but she didn't seem to hear what I was saying and just said they will be mailing them out 3 day UPS. Finally, she said that we could always pick up our tags at the airport. Weird. I thought they did these things a month out. Guess, they don't think anyone has other plans.

Lanyard Status 6/11:
Last Call for Orders - I'm really, really am ordering this Wednesday.
I got the badge holder samples and it looks like we can go with the vertical or horizontal holders. Both are fine. The vertical doesn't attach the same as the other but it will be fine. So I will be ordering the vertical badge holder just cause I have a paranoia that the key card could possible fall out of the horizontal one. Disneylover, its item #370 on the kenny product site. Its 2.5x4" big.

ORDER INFORMATION:
Cost will be $2.63 per lanyard which includes a badge holder
Add $1 for each reel. Let me know if you want black or red reels. If you don't say, it will be black.
Total for a lanyard with reel is $3.63.

Payment: I can take paypal payments (basic account, not the premier account) at kylarice at worldnet.att.net. If you don't have paypal, I will take a check. Here is the lanyard with the badge holder (except ours will be vertical)

Here is the lanyard with badge reel (except ours will come as two pieces: a lanyard with J hook (as shown in the above pic). Each badge reels has a belt clip in back. The J hook hooks on the belt clip of the badge reel. See the little tab on the badge reel? That will snap onto the top of the badge holder. The badge holder will hold your Key to the World card. The badge reel is not heavy duty. It is a light string and is made to hold the weight of your badge holder.

Just call DCL back, you'll get a different answer. You may not have your room assignment but you'll find out if the information regarding room assignments and luggage tags is correct. We usually follow the 2 our of 3 rule. If 2 CS reps give us the same information we believe them.

Is anyone going to see the Pirate of the Carribbean on the Magic? Or will you see it in the theatre? Does anyone know if DCL has improved the sound system in the Walt Disney theatre? Beside the extremely narrow seats and aisle I think thats what I hate most about the theatre is the sound system.

One of my sons has seen it - he'll want to see it again. The rest of us will probably wait til the boat.

I'm not sure how many will participate. Its been sort of quiet but I haven't been around on the board much and didn't read everything. My guess would be around that number or less. Time is flying, I think we need to take a head count.

Being the organizer person that I am, I was thinking it would be neat to do a little pocket guide of our DIS events onboard or pre-cruise, back ground info, who is on what excursions. so people could keep up with everything. But we would need to nail down some of these dates, times and numbers here soon. Ok, so I guess I wouldn't have time till after the dog show, so the first week of July, I'm taking off that week for the dog show and some doggie seminars, I probably could work on it then. I was thinking of doing it in publisher so that you could fold it and see if MaryJo could put it up on this thread. But you probably want to print on both sides of the paper to really make it work as a pocket guide.

Hi all,

Just checking in - I'm stressed and mad to day - so need to think about my holiday to chill out.

I ordered 2 skirts on 1st May from Marks & Spencers online _ Dont know whether the USA Lot will have heard about them - but they are one of the major chains in the UK.

The total cost of the 2 skirts was £47 ( roughy $95)

The £47 was debited from my bank -however only 1 skirt turned up as 1 was out of stock.
I called to chase up a refund (as I had not got the skirt and they said they would have to send a cheque) I have chased it up several times but no cheque. Then on 14th May they took another £47 from my account . I called last friday they said whilst I was waiting for the cheque they would send me some complimentry vouchers £20 for my troubles.
Well I checked my bank today and they have taken another £47 Plus they have charged me £24.95 for the £20 complimetry vouchers
I have been on to head office today and am awaiting a phone call form them. I am owed now a total of £140.95 and It has made me go overdrawn in my account.

I am soo cross -Just wait till the person phones me -
