OK - back to the picture posting thingie - here is a picture of DD and her BFF now - the 2 blondes were thrown together out of necessity for a while until they clicked. BFF was held back 1 year so is actually now going to be 15 in Oct but she is so outgoing and gregarious that she has brought out some of the shyness in DD. While April has been a calming influence on BFF. Her therapist suggested that her mom foster a friendship with DD as she plays Jimney to her Pinocchio!

Sorry folks - for some reason - that cracks me up!

GOOD MORNING From over here, i know its still just Saturday in the West coast.

Just wanted to say that Wendy (disneymagic316) had a great party (bridal shower for her very soon to be daughter-in-law) today. She is a sweet beautiful girl with a great family.

I also met her sister-in-law Mary Jo who will also be cruising with us. She only posted here once or twice - Where are you? You need to post more often.


Question - has anyone cancelled an excursion and booked a different one? If so, did you need to cancel the existing one? How do you know if there is availability and # of spots?

After reading some reports, I am having my doubts about the Florence and Pisa one. I am not sure what to do now.

I havent changed mine in fact reading reports made me onfirm in my mind more its best to go private as DCL has had problems and local operators know places such as Piza so much better, they do it all the time. Plus if a road is blocked we can change it, they couldnt when they hit a major italian holiday.

I just noticed we are at page 499. Does being the first post on the page ending in 00 give you some sort of ?

Where's Andrew when you need him?

In bed we have more awards and pirates than other threads so better leave it out, plus the page and a pirate will come together.

Ok another look at a rare family photo - well not so rare anymore - DS ALWAYS refused to take photos. Now - that's no longer a problem!

Please keep in mind that at the stroke of midnight - I promptly pulled a Cinderella and POOFED into my normal-looking self.

You know - in all this posting - I forgot to mention that DD was sick as a dog yesterday. She got sick during her mass at 11 and then was nauseous during lunch. She ended up being sick twice before getting to the reception. That is why I think that she turned out even more paler than she normally is.

Course, it doesn't help that my estitician (sp?) has warned her that she will burn if she doesn't protect herself as well as wrinkle more if she doesn't protect herself. So now, I have a paranoid 14-yo who is worried about wrinkles! Poor child - wonder if I should tell her about laugh lines?

Or crow's feet?

Sounds like a good friendship. April's bff-now pushes her to be more outgoing, and April probably keeps her from going too far. Another great pic!

I think the light is on whenever you are logged into the Diss, now on my broadband, I automatically logg in, so firstly I might be on UK Diss or elsewhere, and looking at the time ''you last visited'' I know that if I go away from the Diss completely and come back without closing down my computer
the time doesnt change so I presume it has kept me logged in, the time only changes if I close the computer down.

The site was... well, not to speak ill of their software developers.. well, a bit strange.

So here's what happened. On one reservation I deleted the one excursion and then added the other. Then hit "submit". It came back (after a long delay) showing no excursions. Nothing I could do would add the new one. I tried logging off and I couldn't get back into the reservation for 20 minutes. Then I could add the new excursion.

On the other reservation I did it differently. First I removed the old excursion, and clicked "Submit" to confirm that.
Then I added the new excursion and clicked "Submit" to confirm that - the new one was added perfectly.

In my case there was space in the excursion, so everything went well, but the site was definitely odd....

Will try and catch up, today, but tomorrrow I leave for a week in the New Forest with my year 6 pupils no internet access so I guess I'll come back to a great deal of catching up, next weekend I'm away in Devon meeting up with our best man of 17 years ago and the following weekend I'm in Gloucester as it is Keith's Birthday so I'm not going to be around much in the next couple of weeks.
