Just wanted to share a picture with you of our Princess Jasmine on her first birthday today!

Harole Ann- SOOO CUTE!! We are haveing a "cat shower" for the kittens this weeknd!! Only an animal would apprecite this... friends have called to ask where their gift registry is!!!

Only animal people can appreciate because she had a real dog birthday with cake and party with our grandsons & neighborhood children...she thinks she is one, but don't ask me whose fault that is.... What can I say, she brings us joy and many, many laughs!

One more thing. For those of you who like wine, DH bought me 6 bottles of the new wines Disney is having on the Med Cruise for Mother's Day, We've had three (not all at the same time) and they are wonderful.

Is anyone else going to do room door magnets and what happened to the fish hangers idea ?
WE are in the process of making our hanger... I have some magnetic printer sheets I got at Staples or Office Max- I have printed some graphics out already and will do Brians Design also... My DD loves this idea and it is giving her something to do for the cruise

Right now it 10:11am UK time and I'm really trying to keep my thoughts off the school appeal meeting that I have to leave for at about 11:15am. I guess that the reason for my mindeless rambling...at least thats my excuse and I'm going to stick to it

Another night's sleep - another 8 pages to read . . .

I'm so glad to hear that there will be some older teenage boys on the cruise and teenage girls, which means I'll never see him.

That's the goal, right?

I would just like to reiterate that I did not sing for this tag - appropriate, yes, it is something that I say frequently, particularly when lamenting cleaning, laundry etc.

I got on the web site, was kicked out once, then the second time got two cabins without problem. Not quite at the cheapest price, but not bad either.

Yes the stateroom doors are most certainly metal and decorating them is great fun. It also makes it easier for the kids to recognise which is the right door.

I think we should all use Brian's fab web banner design as one of our room door magnets as it's obvious that we're adopting it as our offical logo.

I'm game - I need to start thinking about my door decorations - can hear the kids now, Gosh, Mom, you're such a dork . . .

What happened to the t-shirt design idea ?

I think going with Brian's logo on the front left top pocket area is good and I love the idea of having all the tags on the back. I guess that as we seem to be so popular with the lovely tag fairy we've going to have to decide on a cut-off date for the list of tags.

Personally I think we should all have the same list of tags on our shirts as it would be nice to all have the same shirt design

It's strange but when I'm at work and I can't get onto the baords I always imagined that there would be loads of people chatting away here, but now I see that it was all just an illusion and that's not the case at all. We're saving the champagne for when we get our room assignment. We're still GTY 12. It will either be to celebrate an upgrade or to drown our disappointment in the Cat. 12. (I'm just kidding about that we will be perfectly happy in the Cat 12 and especially when we think about the next cruise the discount paid for?)

Hey everyone - did anybody else get a call from DCL re: Lucca Treasure Hunt? Also Lucca Bike Ride? Its been cancelled and allready taken off the choices.

I took a call from DCL today asking for DD and DS (Which that one is no big deal) but they had already cancelled and taken it off our list. THey were requesting that they go online and check out the other choices. Wonder what happened?

Hope not - maybe its just a case of not being a good excursion. Although something must have been bad since its only been 1 cruise. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Laura, did you read that someone posted about the "Create your own perfume" excursion. They haven't reach Villefranche port yet, so not sure how they knew but they mentioned that your really don't create your own, you create one as a group. I've been waiting for someone who actually went to post.

Does anyone know if the doors on the cabins are metal? I'm thinking of my door decorations and I'm wondering if magnets will work on them.
Also was a decision made about the fish hooks? I can't keep up with all the posts , I try, but it's very busy especially when the Brits wake up. You are a chatty group. Andrew I was able to get through to the transfer company in Barcelona, thank you very much for that info! You are a chatty and very helpful bloke!

Well there is a post on door signs, and there I read that you have to use magnets. So I assume they are metal. The big thing I understand is that you can't use tape or any other type of adhesive.

As for the fish extenders - have you seen the photo? I must admit my blonde side came out because I thought the big fish thing at the top was part of the extender, and couldn't figure out why a simple letter sorter was being called a fish extender. Thankfully I was straightened out, as it was explained to me that the fish thingy is part of the stuff near your door. And that we simply hang the extender from there. I guess that comes from this being my first cruise and being totally naive.

I think someone said they found them at the local $ store for around 2 or 3. If you wanted one you could pm her. I will have to go back and find out who that was.

Or - there were instructions posted for making your own. I am going to go that route as I have some extra duck cloth from another craft project. I like to use the duck cloth as opposed to regular fabric because it is really thick and wont need the extra support. (think jeans material - which also works well).

As for if everyone is participating or not? Not sure. I think we should designate someone to make a list, and have everyone PM them.
