WE had a great time and they took great care of me....we hung around DTD and went to see Batman and ate and talked....we talked from the moment we hit the road till I was dropped off. You would figure that we would have nothing to talk about with all the time we talk but we were not short for words that's for sure.

We are going again Oct 9th and 10th but with our families we all get along great so it should be fun. Branden and Cori(my son and Cindy's son) has a crush on Krises daughter so that should be fun to watch...although she has no idea that the boys feel that way....just us 3 girls know that....

Anyway how is your DAD doing? did he enjoy the cruise even though he had wheels?

Just yesterday John told me that the cruise was a waste of money...he said for $10000 it seems like a waste......but that he was ready to do it all again

Jackie said she wants to do a 10 -14 day next time. 7 days was too short. I love that little girl

From the main board looks like 2010 itineraries coming out early Oct. Can't wait to see where the Magic is going.

Just yesterday John told me that the cruise was a waste of money...

He shoulda spent some time with us at Diversions. He coulda had some free shots from the rich oil exective too. They would have negated some of the $10k cost.

Jackie is right.....7 days is toooooooooooo fast and John is right also....10,000 for 7 days is craziness but yet we all keep spending it to go back again We are not planning on cruising till the new ship comes out in 2011.....OMG can I wait that long . WE want to have every bit of Debt gone in our life except for our house and we are close to that but by than it will be gone we will start saving for the 2011 cruise of the new ship in 2010

However if the 2010 cruise is to like Alaska or Hawaii than we will have no choice but to be on it...so I am hoping it will be like the Med again and that will keep us grounded.

We are also planning on buying more DVC when the Hawaii one goes on sail so we need cash for that also....Ohhhhhhh so many things ....so little time....so little money anyone want to donate to the Campbell vacation/DVC fund

so by the way did you get the shorts? we sent them out what 2 weeks or so ago. Hope they came...they did not come back here so am guessing you got them. Did the boys start school yet? Michael started last Monday and Branden 3 weeks ago.

Jackie started school on 8/11 and the boys will start this Thursday.....finally

Fortunately, John & I are going to WDW for a convention in about 2 weeks. Staying for 5 days at WDW without kids

Can't wait to make our tour around Epcot and sample all the different beers

A couple of quick notes:

I lowered the "Ten Magical Years" website back down to a free site. The jerks wanted to raise the price by $2. I will have none of that. It's still there though:

Hi Tom..thanks so anyone else around here? The kids have started school of course and I have been busy doing my volunteering. WE have no vacations planned at this time. Bummer !

Ken have you watched the video from the Zipline yet? it came out pretty good. We had some brave zip liners ...the ones that were hanging upside down.

So anyone else have another cruise set up or something else coming up? Is anybody besides me and Tom on the DIS anymore....what so you think Tom are we the only ones left. I know if we PM them they will get a message sent to there E-mail that we are here.

They're all talking with cruisers for their next cruise. Since I don't know when my next cruise is, I'm still here.

I think it might be a busy fall.

I have season tickets for Fresno State football (kills 5 weekends), plus I got tickets for 1 away game (UCLA), I might go to Vegas in October, West's bday is in October and we'll probably go to Disneyland for Thanksgiving.

October is really bad (Football, Football, Birthday, Vegas).

Hope everything is well with your health. Dad is still struggling with his breathing. Dr. NoPersonality told him that he'll probably be on oxygen the rest of his life due to "scar tissue", but was unable to explain where the scar tissue came from.....Kaiser....I hate Kaiser.

Yes I saw her.... I could tell she was having a great time also saw you on the platform taking pictures of her as she came down the zip line. The video was better than I thought it would be. The music was good also however the music in the beginning made us feel like we were in Iraq

Hi Tom...hows the family and how is your DAD? Are you also going on that cruise? I expect I will be going through cruise withdrawls when summer comes since we wont be going ....

Wonder if the DCL will drop there prices some with all that's going on with the market.....We have not even looked at what our stocks have fallen to this time....last go around we lost over $100,000

This is the 3rd time we have lost money....we lost in the 80's than after 9/11 and well this time no doubt. so much for retirement. Good thing we are only in our early 50'3 ...still gives us another 20 years to recoup.

But I think again how many elderly have just lost there retirement money....last time so many had to come out of retirement...sure this time it will be no different.

Anyway sorry for my ranting...I will leave that up to the candidates

so when will your family and friends be sailing again?

Hey Tom how ya doing and anyone else still hanging around

The cruises sound great....I would like to hit up Germany....however we will not be sailing again in 2010 as much as we would love to. We want to wait till the kids are a little bit older before heading off to Europe. Think they will get more from it than.

So looks like our next cruises will be for sure no matter where they go on the new ships in 2011 and 2012

2010 we will hit up Hawaii. We have never been there yet so we are looking forward to it. Not sure where we will go this summer besides our yearly camping at Campland on the bay...but it will be fun and not to expensive.

We have been working to get all of our dept gone ,except our mortgage because we need that as a business write off. And we have been doing a fine Job of that

Hey Fellow Cruisers!

Nice to see some chat still going. I was wondering if anyone was booking the 2010 summer cruises.

The itineraries sound fun but the prices look high and add airfare from Hawaii and it will be dog gone expensive

So.... not sure yet. We do have the dummy 2009 Dec. cruise booked so may move it to a 2010 itinerary.

But with this crazy economy dragging us down just don't feel like even thinking about spending that much money on a cruise. May look into the other cruise lines to check on comparable prices.

We are looking at the Barcelona to Dover repo and then the first Baltic cruise, but we will need to see how many points that will take!
