Also following teh tour online, Rooting for Vanvelde, but who knows, very impressed with Andy Schlek.

I have to agree Scott....Christian Vandevelde, was very impressive this tour, both on and off the bike. Andy Schleck looked unstoppable on the bike. Ahhh, youth!

Laurie, so true about Christian Vandavelde, on and off the bike, I was very happy with the Garmin Chipolte teams keeping it clean attitude.

I wanted to do this one and the WB repo but only had enough vacation time for one cruise - the WB was a blast but I will be thinking about you folks this week. Have a great time.

Sandy glad you had a great trip, when we did it in 2005 it was one of the best trips to date with DCL the med trip was another very fun trip.

Surprised not to see you on Deb's 5 niter..

It is a Monday here in the states, that means I will be off to Bang nails, we don't really bang then we shoot them with a gun.

I wanted to go in 2005 but we did the first one out of Mexcio instead. I followed you on here though and loved it so much I had to do it myself (ok, and I talked Deb and the rest into it too - lol)

I had a cabin for the 5 day Deb and Steve cruise but just couldn't stretch the vacation time enough to make it work. Maybe when I retire I can do them all; yes, I hear the lottery calling my name and winning numbers right now . I'll be cruising with you guys via blogs and updates though. It would be nice to be on the ship with you guys again.

Looks like you have upgraded your home on board for that week though - congrats.

There was no comparison of the MED to the PC - two totally different animals and I would do either one again.

Back to our regularily scheduled cruise - where are the updates ?

These guys must be having a blast because no one is posting much.

This cruise itinerary didn't excite me much but the traveling companions did. I found things to do in ports but would rather the ship be elsewhere.

We will meet up again ....

Hope you all had a Swimming seaday..

Yesterday, as you all went to Cabo Wabbo or something kewl like that, I got to enjoy the hot sun as well for 8 straight hours, 30 ' in the air while installing Cedar shingle.. Almost as fun!
Thought i Saw the stacks on the ship for a Second, turned out to be the parking authority putting Dual tickets on my truck as it was parked on the Street.




Today is Mazatlán

Sail to Deer Island or sunbathe and swim at one of Mazatlán's many popular beaches. Treat yourself to a scenic horseback ride or compete in a fun-filled game of golf amidst a backdrop of gentle rolling hills and unspoiled coastline. Take a hike up a nearby hill to the 19th-century El Faro lighthouse and marvel at the view, or simply enjoy a leisurely walk along the waterfront street known as the Malecón, where a myriad of seafood restaurants, bars and boutiques await your arrival.

Sure is great knowing so many people on the ship. You can't help but pass each other in the hall and say hello. I walk by other cabins, and I know they've at least stopped by the DISboards cause I recognize they're door magnets, but they never stopped in this thread. They missed out big time.

Hi Everyone

Made it home in record time - no traffic! All unpacked and laundry started. Had a great trip. Weather was interesting. Very hot in Cabo, very wet in Mazatlan, hot and humid in PV.

DCL did very little for the 10th. Nothing special. They had a cake that said "Happy Anniversary". Alex and Carolyn had buttons made for everyone of the ship. We had a group go around and put them on everyones Fish.

Had a great time on the ATVs in Cabo and zipping in PV.

I want to thank everyone of this thread for the great FE gifts. It was nice meeting everyone! Hope everyone made it home safe and sound!
