Amber, we are taking the DCL shuttle from the Grand California hotel. It isn't the cheapest option but saves John ( DH ) from returning a rental car and meeting us at the port.

FYI, the closest rental company at San Pedro port is Enterprise.

If you do a search on the main board I remember several threads on transportation to the port. Recall lots of people booking Shuttles like Super shuttle, Etc.

If it's not too late...here are all of our names - Dan, Holly, Megan (age 11) and Tyler (age7). If you have the lanyards all done, don't worry about it. We would just like to meet all of you and have our kids meet some other kids too. Last time our kids did not want to go to the Kids Club because they didn't know anyone there!

Reading some of the virus reports seems like Cabo Wabo may be a bad idea.....and I was planning to go there to pick up souvie tshirts, etc for our nephews. But after the reports of No way Jose!

You can still get souvies there if you don't want the food. Just be prepared to climb some stairs to get there. We went on the WB Repo and had no problems with the food. You could also visit the Cabo Wabo in Reno if you really want to try the food.

We get to drive from home - which is a real luxury for us.

Same here, but using a one-way rental. Didn't want our car to sit for week in the sea air. Unlike Ken, it's not used to it where we live.

If you're up in Sac, you can try the one in Reno. Unless you've been to that one and are trying to do the double. Actually, the food was not bad, but it was overpriced. Others in our group on the WB Repo really enjoyed the Hanging Marlin, just across the street from Cabo Wabo.

We also have one opening up in Fresno pretty soon. Was supposed to be done already, but isn't.

Scott is trying to get tomorrow off, so we can take off a day early and spend the day in Denver before flying out. That means I have to finish all the chores today - like mowing the lawn, last minute packing, cleaning the house! Painting is on hold (which might make my very sore arm happy!).

Yeah, but you're probably just driving to the Port on Sunday morning (right after you stuff the last items in your suitcase).

Most of the rest of us have to be done a day or days earlier.
