July 26, 2011 – 7 Night Alaska ~ Bears, Whales, Eagles and Ducks. Oh My!

PJ - I am not sure if I posted this earlier but our DS (Brack III) and DDIL (Jennifer) are going with us on this cruise. :cloud9:

Yeah! now we get to meet the Jr JR. :rotfl:

I am really excited for the Alaskan cruise, I get to cruise and not get sunburnt!

Pj

Judy, I also received that e-mail today. Not so bad.

We hava a couple of couples that are considering cruising with us as well. A couple that we share a grandkid with (his dad's parents) from OR and long time friends here from Missoula. We too are excited that the Geeks will be back together.

Well, we've been silent here for a while because we have two cruises planned before this one. Had the Christmas cruise planned for a while. But the Northern Europe cruise was a last minute addition to our plans. We fly for London tonight, and sail on Saturday. Wish us dry weather!

:confused3 How did we let the 400 day countdown pass by without notice? :scared1:

The total number of days between Friday, June 25th, 2010 and Tuesday, July 26th, 2011 is 396 days.

This is equal to exactly 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day.

This does not include the end date, so it's accurate if you're measuring your age in days, or the total days between the start and end date. But if you want the duration of an event that includes both the starting date and the ending date, then it would actually be 397 days.

The total time span from 2010-06-25 to 2011-07-26 is 9,504 hours.

This is equivalent to 570,240 minutes.

You can also convert 396 days to 34,214,400 seconds.

We need to get the DISBoard to put in a "Like" button. :thumbsup2

Returning from NC we "swung by" Hilton Head. We'll go back.

We spent a few days at Hilton Head late Feb 2009 and we LOVED it. We picked up a Bible translated into Gullah at a gift shop there. :cool1:

DM and I are on WDW burn out, so HH is a trip we are looking at.

Pj

I really want to go back to DL, and also visit some of the off site DVC sites. I think that the TA and Alaska will be a great break from WDW. I know that come 2012 when I want to bring close friends down and do a 2br villa, I will be ready again.

I love the resorts at WDW and would love to do a resort only trip no parks.

Pj

PJ, we did enjoy both HH and VB resorts. The VGC are really, really nice also. We are going to stay at WDW for 9 days and only plan 4 or 5 at the parks. We want to enjoy the resorts this trip also. Maybe even get over to GF and see it this time. :thumbsup2

I like this idea also. :thumbsup2 We almost did that this past week when we spent one night at the Boardwalk Villas. Thursday we checked in and walked around the resort, sat at the pool, had dinner at Cape May in the Beach Club Resort and then went swimming at BWV. :cloud9: We didn't go to the MK until the next day.

I think we might do a resort only trip someday but it will be hard to not go once to a park. :confused3

Hi,

Has anybody booked a Category 6A Guaranty for this sailing? If so, have you received a room assignment yet?

Thanks,

Lisa
