I have this cruise on hold right now, but will be paying it tomorrow!!!! It is me, my fiance and our DD Addison who is 2. My mom might be coming with us also! Oh, this was a total last minute lets get away from the wedding stress trip! We will be married August 1, the Saturday after we get off!!!! I'm so excited!!!!

My DW and I will be on this sailing. It will be our 4th Disney Cruise, all on the Wonder. We need to get on the Magic one of these days. :)

So does everyone have all their travel arrangements done?

Is anyone spending some time in the Disney World area before or after the cruise?

(my answers)

- still need to reserve a pre-cruise hotel. I reserved two one-way car rentals... man they are expensive! Found best rate with Dollar with "KISS" promo code

- spending two nights pre-cruise in the Disney World area, but not going to go to the theme parks (1-day tickets are way too much for me). We may go to Blizzard Beach. Will def go to Downtown Disney, since the kids have never been there. Considering the Fort Wilderness campfire. We will hit Disney Quest after cruise (flight home doesn't leave until 6:30pm). Gamer son will surely love it.

My DW and I are good to go as far as the cruise. Not to make anyone jealous, but we live about 10 miles behind the Magic Kingdom. We are planning a couple trips to the parks as a warmup. Of course, its never difficult to get into a Disney mood. :cool1:

Hey mommy19992003 is your name really Jeanne? Mine is and I have never met anyone else who spells it this way.

We can't wait!!! We are driving the entire 657 miles. We might be nuts time we get there.

Hi Jeanne!
Yes - my name is spelled Jeanne too! How old are your daughters? Mine are 9 and 5.

We were planning on driving from Wisconsin to keep it affordable (and we did it one other time and actually had a great time), but the flights were so affordable that we went that route. Enjoy your road trip - can be tons of fun as a family! (T.v's for the kids can be lifesavers!)

Can anyone tell me on the kids clubs how they work. I registered the girls online, but it sounds like you just take your kids there anytime and don't need a reservation. Is this how it works?

Road trips are a blast!! We used to drive to Central Florida all the way from South Dakota!!!!

You don't need a reservation. I think you just register so they have the information and when you get on board you can get a pager. I'm pretty sure your girls can go whenever they want. You will get a schedule of events for everyday and they can pick and choose when they want to go!

What's FE?

FE stands for fish extender. Here is a link to more info. I would love to do an exchange, but do we have time to get the stuff? Anyone else up for it?

Hi Jeanne. My girls are 16 and 8. The 8 yr old can't wait to do the kids clubs. It is my understanding that we do not need ressies for them. We only register them online and then either at the port or on the ship. We will be having tvs in the car.

Thanks for explaining fish extenders! It's our first cruise and I don't know what to expect. With two kids I'm wonder . . . are we walking hallway to hallway finding places where FE's are and then dropping things in them?

My guess is (and I'm not sure if this is correct) is we would start a sign up for an exchange. Then we will know how many gifts to bring with us. I don't even know if we can get fish extenders in time. I think most people get them from ebay. If we do it, we probably have to get moving fast on it! I think there is a link to how to make a no sew fish extender.

I don't know, what do you guys think? Do we have enough interest? :confused3

You're correct! You don't need ressies for your kids. My DD is two and she potty trained so I'm hoping they will let her have a trial run in the 3-4 year old group. I think she would be bored with Flounders Nursery. I'm crossing my fingers that it works because I think she would love it!
