We showed up to the Fort on the 23rd. We didn't think we would get a site a day early since we called after JAX to be told no preferred sites and we didn't want to move sites after one night. But Disney had some magic up it's sleeve and an additional revenue stream. So the Fort moved us to site 121 and out of the planned 300 loop.
The site was tight due to a tree on the side. Prevented us putting out our awning but we wouldn't have used it anyway. So no loss there.
Transportation was great. Even had a low flying internal bus/ jet on night after pleasure island. A new stop for the 100 loop was created for us and another couple. I requested an 0800 pick up the next morning and was told I was dreaming then. Oh well, maybe next time.
Kenny was kind enough to have a cart dropped off at 0730 on Sunday. We enjoyed it, but if the bus service stays this good we will try bikes next time.
We enjoyed the parks and came back for a cool down/nap daily. We plan to NEVER visit June through Labor Day ever again. To freakin hot! And we are from SC. So we know heat and humidity.
So this where I say my parents told me so. I remember we did WDW one summer as a kid and only one summer.
Saw several sets of green ears while there.
My hubby really enjoyed it and has been Fortifide.
Thanks for everyone's advice and help.

The water parks were very crowded and I didn't like them as well as Adventure Island in Tampa. Guess I'm spoiled by a smaller water park - just wish it had the hot, fresh, sugared mini donuts.
