Becky, minors (under 18) are allowed in most pubs if eating a meal and accompanied by an adult. This is very common. I say most pubs because it's actually the decision of the local licensing authority and it's possible that you could find a few that don't allow minors, but I haven't come across one for years.

Several years ago there was a change to UK law which prevents smoking inside public buildings, and lots of pubs changed to focus on food and attracting families. Most are now very enjoyable places to eat.

Some places only accept under 18s until 9pm just incase you were planning an all night session:rotfl2:

I save that for the ship when the girls are safely tucked away in Vibe. :rotfl2:

Should be Main, -

Normally is ........but doing some wheeling and dealing with my TA in the USA tonight and we have been having a chat about things and.....

More news on Monday!!!!!!

PS,

My TA hates me when I do this, -actually so does DCL.!

But it makes up for all the information I give .........

Back to Dinner time last time in St Petes we swapped to Late for one night. 2015 we plan it miss it and go to an evening event till 10pm.

Very very easy last time for two weeks it was about £55 and you go right up, if you look at my photos the cards parked to the left are cruisers cars, but the tip is, drive up drop off luggage then park inside the old railway station there the car is protected more from sea water, the salt causes rust, and also stopping your car alarm going off and draining the battery. It's so so easy.

Thanks Andrew

We're late dining. We actually don't like eating that late. But, it does work out well whenever we have the option for an excursion that runs late in the day. :thumbsup2

We are on 2nd dining. Interested why the experts have chosen main?

I don't like to eat big meals so late in the day, and we're used to eating at the earlier time at home, so we just keep to the same schedule. Plus, it's easier to get to some of the later adult shows with the earlier dining.

We always do Main seating since that's closer to when we eat at home. Paul is a Type 2 diabetic and while we have eaten that late with no issues, every so often, it's better for him not to do it on a regular basis.

We might have to see about going to late dinner the first night in St. Petersburg, since we might get back late from our tour or we can always find something quick, if needed. Thinking we may skip the ship the first night in Copenhagen and see what we can find in town. Just some early ideas I have been kicking around.

Hi everyone. We just booked today and excited to find so many great discussions already! We are a family of four and this will be our third cruise after Alaska in 2011 and Med in 2013. I'm Yvonne with Blair (DH), Ariane (DD, 11) and Blake (DS, 11). I've got a few more posts to go before I can PM about FE and Facebook.

We are enthusiastic geocachers, any others on board? We'll be planning to find some caches in each port, if there are any non-UK cachers interested in cache recommendations in London then let me know.

Wombles Dave, we learned about geocaching after we were last in the UK so have not done any looking there. We think we'll have a few days before the sailing to look around this time. We didn't make it to Greenwich last time so it's on our list - looks like the Gates of Greenwich might be worth a look?
