I failed in my quest to get an Ipad today. Everywhere sold out, possibly some in the Apple Store tomorrow in Manchester, but not sure I want one bad enough!!

And of course, sittin in the plane this am, the guy sitting next to me (traveling with his family) says " are you going on the Disney cruise"? (they were, too)

I stupidly say "yes" in front of my kids before I realized what I'd done.
If u can believe it, they didn't hear me.

It wasn't an outgoing guy with his wife, and two kids,a girl 7 and a boy around 5? Possibly travelling with another couple with two children? Only a friend of ours (not involved on the board) was flying out today, staying at a very 'posh' resort further along the coast.

Just finished - large suitcases locked and loaded. Just a few things left for the carry-on's that are "last minute"!

They met up at Teller Tapas, just north off Placa Catalyna (sp), I think we may head there Tuesday evening, if anyone wants to come along. I am not going to book or arrange anything formal, just in case we are too tired etc., but that will be the plan, around 6/7 in the evening.

However, I have done my packing

Printing out magnets and confirmations, then having a clean - I have to do this as we have housesitters coming in to care for the animals!!! Oh how I long to just shut the door and walk out, without all the added pressure!

We leave first thing in the morning, hopefully be in Barcelona by 11.00.

We plan on being at Teller Tapas all being well, maybe see you there. I will be carrying a Dooney & Bourke DCL bag.

Okay... Guess we should start packing aswell. I hope travelling with just the two of us (and no women involved ;-)) makes it go faster. Have to get out of bed at 3.30 tonight to take a early flight to Barcelona. But i think the trip will be worth it

Help -- can someone confirm that there is a shaver point in the bathroom? My poor husband has his uk electric shaver (which says 250v) and it doesnt fit in the shaver point here in BCN. He's looking mighty scruffy and if his shaver doesn't work on the boat he'll look and act like a bear... I need to know if we need to sort out a converter plug ASAP.

Cruise pros??? Help?????

He's looking mighty scruffy and if his shaver doesn't work on the boat he'll look and act like a bear... I need to know if we need to sort out a converter plug ASAP.

Cruise pros??? Help?????

If you have a uk / usa adaptor it should let him plug in his shaver. Only prolem might be if it's not dual voltage (although if it works on 240 it'll work on 110!)

We had no problem (4 people/4 suitcases) at the airport taxi queue. The guy managing the queue signaled 4 to the first driver, he said no -- the next guy could fit our bags. There were some minivans in the queue as well but we surpringly it in the small sedan.

Jen We have a few UK/US adapters with us. I'm sure we could lend you one to let him shave lol. Give us a shout at the meet and we'll sort things out.

Rubbish!!!! In my experience, Men are far worse than women!!!! Men always want to take control, I am not even deemed responsible enough to carry my own passport!!!

I am not sure, but it will be a US socket - is that different. If you can let me know what you need - I will see if there is something at the airport in the morning. Otherwise, looks like he will be 'wet' shaving!!!

Hi, better late than never!!! We are having a bit of a get together at 3.00 in the Promenade Lounge - just of the main atrium area and then on deck to the right of the stage (facing it), just before sailway, come and say hello.

Ok, I am ready to go!! My otherhalf however is still at work and not totally packed. My cases are full to the brim, I actually went on line and booked an extra 3kg!! Well just to be on the safe side - worth the £15 extra if it means I can get a few more things in.

I hope it is hot out there, it is absolutely pouring down today, all day, with high winds.
