Ridicolon, don't know if anyone has mentioned the Tower of London, but that is one of my fav "tourist" stops. My husband wasn't keen on the idea (he thought it was just the Tower) but he - and the kids and my parents all loved it! Worth doing the (free) tour, and then taking a wander around. My daughter still talks about the Crown Jewels and my son loved the Armory.

Be sure to check out the Changing of the Guards Ceremony at Buckingham Palace. They do it everyday at 11:30am but be sure to get there early if you want to be right in front by the fence line where you can see everything they do. It is real neat to watch.

Just checking in to say that I have all but two email addresses now, so if you haven't sent me an email and would like a copy of the deck plans for FE's then please do. I will send them out this week.

Did you see the new posts on the main boards about recent trips/excursions? I think I may rethink my Schooner Trip!!! But still want to swim in that blue sea in Malta!

For those in the UK, there has been a programme on Sky about the Palermo Catacombs, should be repeated, if I could remember what Channel!!!! Interesting, but not suitable for a six year old!!

Bought a couple more things for the FE's today, not good though, I shall have to make them up without Otherhalf seeing and hide them at the bottom of the case

Just get this busy week out the way and I can plan and pack in earnest.

I'm making slow progress on my FE gifts. I was going to get all crafty and make the main bit but then apparently we completely skipped May this year and went from April to June because that is the only way that time has gone by so fast....and now we're under two weeks! (We are, at least, as we leave for Barcelona on the 17th....)

For those who want to start early 3:00 in Promenade Lounge deck 3.

Good idea, I shall try and be at the Pomenade Lounge. Shouldn't it be a 'red carnation' and carrying a copy of the 'Financial Times'? Or is that just a British thing?

Received ours (in the UK) a few weeks ago. They've changed it for this year - it's just a little spiral bound notebook with info in it (nothing different than what's on your booking on the website) and the luggage tags - which was the only thing I wanted.

We received ours a few weeks ago too. Same thing...a small booklet with our luggage tags. Not sure if you really need to have it but it does have everything in one little booklet...like the itinerary, stateroom number, emergency info cards to give to family members, etc.

Might be a good idea to contact your agent. Maybe it was sent to them by accident, just a thought.

If it makes you feel better, my ta told me that you don't need it as everything is avail on the website...the docs come directly from Disney but they they can tell your ta when (roughly) they were mailed.

We cancelled our Turkish Schooner booking with DCL, after reading the reviews. However, this does sound good. Is it worth finding out a price and joining togther?

We would def be interested. Looks like rate is €550 for a day trip for up to 14 people. Getting a few of us together would make it much more reasonable (and 86 people less) than the Disney excursion. I'd like to know how they got the rate for 440!
