July 2, 2005 - WE ARE THERE!!!

jgiants21

Are you also looking for any for as far as the Magic is concerned? Inkognito (Barbara) she started this thread and is also a moderator - has a great website full of info for the Magic - are we allowed to post? Should I send it via PM?

Dave - this dune buggy is like a go kart? My kids would love that. In Cozumel we went to Mr. Sanchos and my sons took the package where they rode the ATVs on the beach, the jetskis and horseback (donkey? lol) riding.

Who mentioned the weather Fran or Amy? They weather here in Staten Island (NY) is horrible today - pouring rain on and off all day and yesterday the fog was so about (and dangerous) you could not see 10 feet in front of you. I guess still better than those poor souls in CA or everyone that was affected by the Tsunami.

It was me that mentioned the weather :wave2: 17 days of rain later and I promise I won't mention that there's no weather here in California again!!! I think we should be dried out by the time you get here in July!!
As far as excursions go we have everything figured out except for Cabo. Last time we went was during whale watching season but this time we'll have to figure something else out. In Puerta Vallarta we are doing (taking for granted that they will offer) the Las Caletas tour. This is basically a boat ride to a nice beach where everything was included (drinks lunch, snorkeling, kayaking, etc) and we are going to go horseback riding with Randy's Happy Horses in Mazatlan. This is not a ship sponsored tour but we had a good time last time. Talk to you all later. Amy :flower1:

Please review the cruise meet board for the July 9 trip. They have some good web sites to reveiw for excurions.

Hey giants21!
I'm representing the teens on this cruise (as so far i'm the only one on the DIS...) and i saw you have a 15yrold daughter... well i'm be 17 by July, but hey! i'm a teen!

anyway... just saying hey and welcome to the dis!

Hi DisneyGirl421, Yes I do have a 15 yr (who will be 16 in Aug) old daughter who things she is 21. I will show her your post and she may want to start posting on her own. She is a great girl who older teenagers find to be outgoing and fun. During our last cruise (Pride of Aloha, June 2004) she and a couple of older teens had a great time following the boys, singing karokee, and hanging out in the lounge. In fact, she is currently dating one of the boys she met on that cruisse. Hopefully, you can hood up with my little princes. princess:

oh yes were there cute guys... hehehe...
and i loved the dances... they went until like 1am, and then we just walked around the ship talking and having fun until like 2ish.. I never went to bed before then! lol

Is anyone thinking about playing golf in Mexico, my father would like to know.

Is the dune buggy or jeep excursions rough on your back? I would love to do one of those excursions but have a bad back and neck.

I would defintely pass on those tours if you hava a bad back. Even if you have a "good " back you take your chances on those types of tours( they are fun though!!) Amy :flower1:

I would not risk one of these tours with a bad back.

I found us half way down page 2. Heres to everyone having a good week :drinking1

Remember...those that do not bump and the last to get their docs buy the drinks. I will have a crown & coke please :teeth: :teeth:

Dave

Thanks! I definitely don't want to risk throwing my back out and ruining the rest of the trip. It did look like fun though. I'm sure we'lll find something plenty of other excursions to do.

On the main cruise page someone listed atleast a partial list of the excusrions for Mazatlan and Cabo but not Puerta Vallarta. I believe the the thread was called something about keeping us informed about West Coast excursions. Maybe someone with more than my 1 1/2 brain cells can post alink to that thread :earboy2: ..Oh yeah, for those non-bumpers... I like those fru-fru drinks or a cosmopolitan if I feel like sluring my words :drinking: a little quicker. (I never drink so 3 sips goes right to my head!!) I'm bumping this thread with a 9 month old climbing up my leg and she REALLY needs her nails clipped. What's your excuse? :charac2: Alteast we have over 100 posts...that should be worth something!! Talk to you all later. Amy :flower1:

Let's see.......how about a coors light? Just sitting at the house today. Had to take the day off so that workers and fix a wall in Kellys room that got water damage from the Labor Day hurricane. I cannot believe that it has taken this long for them to get to us. Well at least DW goes into the weekend with a clean house. ( I had nothing else to do). Have a great weekend!!!

Dave

Dave, enjoy that coors light. Just putting us at the top. I am just bumping so I don't have to buy the drinks. Looking forward to the games this weekend. Talk with you all soon.

YEAH for DH!!!!!!!!

With a clean house to start my weekend...............I feel GREAT!!!!!!! What a great guy XLT is!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

I'll have a Bahama Mama, for my sailaway drink!

I"m in a Disney mood today. Wish we would have woken up early, and run to Disney World for the day!

Have a great weekend!

This is not fair - I receive no e-mail notifications to all your thread/replies. :smooth:

My turn to bump this thread. I am not much of a drinker either, so one drink will/might go straight to my head too. :teleport:

I do like the sweet tropical breezes. Too bad they are soooo heavy and fulling.

What seating does everyone have for dinner? We have early seating. What time will it feel like we are eating in the west coast, 3:00 or 5:00 pm?

I am curious and wondering if we should try late seating this one time. I am a very early riser and can never stay up on vacation past 10-11pm. Perhaps the late seating will force me to wake up later an stay up later.

Any suggestions with the dinner time?

Thanks.

We have early seating also. I have yet to stay up late on a cruise. I told my DH on our last cruise that we would make it to the nightclub atleast once. Never made it. We made it to the shows and then pooped out. Oh well, maybe one of these times we can hold out and stay up late!!
As far as keeping this thread bumped up I have a new theory. These people on these other cruises have too much time on their hands. Unless someone bumps this thread 3 time a day it starts to sink to the bottom of the sea of threads. Maybe we can enlist one of these people that keep their threads up at the top constantly to give our little thread a boost every now and then, otherwise we are destined to look at page 2 for ours  !! That double scoop of CC should be a good place to look! Their cruise isn't until 2006 and it's always at the top. Do you think we could get someone to adopt us?? Talk to you all later. Amy :flower1:
