July 2, 2005 - WE ARE THERE!!!

Well so much for Delta lowering fares. I checked this morning and it actually went up. There are still plenty of seats left so I may wait it out a bit longer. I am a bit stubborn and keep thinking that the price will drop. Lets keep us off of page 2!

Dave

I cannot wait to go on this cruise. With the response that we have had here it should be close to an empty ship. :cool1:

Dave

just bumping this back up to the 1st page...

and it should be crowded, since when we booked, they had no more rooms left to fit four people. My parents now have a room, and me and my sister right across from them.

I looked at this earlier today but it is getting to be embaressing (sp) when all I can say is "Bumping to page 1 again" My own DW will not even help!!!Hope everyone has a great weekend. I am going to spend mine staring at airfares in hopes that they drop some.

Dave

Well, I think everyone who doesn't bump us back up with useless, idle, chit-chat should have to buy us bumpers a drink on board!! Now, would anyone else like to help us out. Poor XLT800 can only talk about the airfare so many times and I live in Southern California, not much weather here to talk about!!

we will be on the july 2nd cruise also. we are so excited. it'll be me, DH41, DD10, DD6; along with DH's sister and family from canada with DS14, DD9, DD5. july 2 is my birthday so i hope i get a surprise from disney. :D

keep those messages coming!

Cruzings......welcome to our not so active thread. Hopefully more will join as we get closer. It will be me (40 turning 41 on July 5) (DW 39 turning 40 on July 9) DD 10 and DS 13. As you may have read those that do not "bump" buy the drinks. On our previous cruises the last to receive doc's also buys the drinks.

Dave

:earboy2:
Hello, Cruzing!

I'm XLT's wife. Lucky for us.............weve ALWAYS been the first on our threads to get out docs. (Maybe because we live so close?????)

This cruise has always seemed so far off to me, but now that we're into 2005, I'm actually starting to feel like it will finally get here.

Looks like we'll have plenty to celebrate on this cruise!!!! However, what could be more depressing than turning 40 on the day you HAVE to get off the ship????????????? :guilty:
Fran

I am glad you found this thread Fran - I tried the other day and could not find it.

What better way to start your 40's is there? lol.

Wait, your body will now start to play some games. :)

:tilt:
Anna, I guess I never thought of it THAT way.........True, no better way to start you 40's. Wish I was starting my 30's instead.

DH and I finally rolled the dice and bought our airline tickets tonight. That means tomorrow, Delta should have a HUGH price cut, and they will be $150.00 round trip.

Fran

What a flurry a messages yesterday........then today back on page 2. Like DW said you do not have to hear about me looking at airline tickets again. All we have left now is to pay for the cruise and come up with some :drinking1 money.....I mean spending money :jumping3: Anyone else want to try the bump thing??

Dave

:wizard: Was able to obtain a cabin for 4 over the weekend. This will be our first DC. :boat: This is the third cruise for myself(45), DW(45), and second for DD(15) princess: and DS (turning 12 on July 4. :bday: ). This should be a great cruise, hope that magical touches are made for the 4th celebration. :goodvibes

Will be spending additional two nights and three days at DL (Hyatt Regency Orange County) for the Happiest Celebration on Earth. :earboy2: Last visit to DL was New Years 2004. Last visit to DW was for 2000 celebration. :drinking1

I am surprised that more have not erred(get it :earsboy: ) into this thread. However, it was not difficult for me to find a cabin and the price has been lowered 9%. :cheer2: The hotel price also was surprising, since we wil be returning on one of the busiest periods for the park. pirate: Anyway, hope to talk with you all soon. Any suggestions on transportation from LAX to LACT, from LACT to DL and from DL to LAX would be appreciated.

 Hello Magic Travelers..... :boat: Starting to book airfight, however, normal carrier does not take reservations this early. :sad2: Will just have to wait and see if the air prices go up or down for the summer. :jumping4:

May have to make the 8 hour drive south if prices rise to high :moped: Any ideas as to things to do in Mexico. It will be our first trip to the area. Very excited to see the MAGIC, as us left coasters don't have the opportunity to visit the ship. Any pictures? :3dglasses - Hope to hear from everyone soon. Very quiet board for a cruise that is supposed to have so much attention.

You are right this has been a very quite thread, but is slowly picking up steam. I think everyone is waiting on excurision info. We are thinking about a dune buggy trip. We did this in Cozumel and had a blast.

Dave

Dave have you looked at the exersions for the other cruise lines for Mexico? I have not recently, but I am sure most will be about the same or close. I think I went to cruisecritic, but don't remember. It has been months. Silly question, dune buggy exactly is what? I have heard or should I say read that the jeep tours are also a lot of fun. Can't wait.

Attention all crusers on this thread - we have someone else on board

Glad you found us and welcome to you and your family.

Have you browsed the main cruise line thread? There are some other websites but I am not sure we are supposed to put them here. Let the planning begin.

Thanks for the Welcome Anna & Dave. I have not found other sites as of yet, but will keep surfing. Dave, that Dune Buggy :moped: trip sounds interesting. It looks like I have alot of planning ahead. I just glad to have six months to do it in. But I am sure the time will blow by :teleport: I will keep everyone informed if I find other ideas.

Will check in again tomorrow.

Anna.....great idea. I have not looked at others at all. We had so much fun doing the dune buggy trip in Cozemel that we wanted to try it again. The cars we had were very "rough around the edge" No seat belts, hard plastic seats, no doors or windows or roof. It was all off road along the beach or one lane paths. I was amazed that the vehicles survived because we went through deep sand over rocks and boulders. The guides then fixed a home made mexican picinic at the beach. DW still has a picture of "PICO MAN" he made an awsome pico salsa. Enough rambling.

Dave

Aw, yes.................pico man left a BIG impression! :earseek:

It WAS great excursion!

Have a great Friday!
