Jim does the same thing with me! He'll say "stop buying me clothes! I have enough" Uhhhhhhhhh have you LOOKED at your clothes!!! I think not!

Are men, especially HUSBANDS, all alike???


I'm going nuts with getting everyone's clothes ready. DH REFUSES to wear khakis and polo shirts. I've been telling him that's what the men wear to dinner. He just won't. He says that he'll wear what he wears to work . . . black pants and white shirts. I swear, the man has 20 pairs of black pants and 20 white shirts!!! That's all he will wear!!!

I told him that he looks like a mortician! (I hope there are no morticians here . . . no offense . . . )

And I'm telling him, "You need more shorts. You need another swim trunk . . . " but he's not listening . . .

Oh yeah, excursions.

We are doing the 12:15 Old Town Trolley at Key West, the 7:30 am Stingray City Snorkel Tour at Grand Cayman (booked the early tour, so that we have time to explore the island on our own if we want to; DS wants to 'go to Hell' ), and at Cozumel, we are doing the Ruins and Beach Tour.


Hope we aren't disappointed with any of these!

We're doing the Key West Walking Tour, Island Tour & Snorkeling w/Stingrays @ Grand Cayman and the Tropical Jeep Safari Tour in Cozumel. The girls signed up for The Wild Side @ CC - any other teens signed up for that?

We love Tivo. We have an older model that you can only record one thing. Just to record the middle of the night movies and pause to use the bathroom or refill my water is worth it.


Friends had Cablevisions DVR and swore by it. I thought it bit the big one and we discontinued it.

With Tivo you can download shows to your computer and burn them. If I'm visiting friends and forgot to record something, I can use their computer and program it.



My dh hates navy pants. He says he looks like a janitor (no offence I hope there's no janitors out there!!!). I said it brings out his blue eyes. He has a million pairs of khakis. He'll be wearing them an polo shirts every casual night. DS has polos to match every night too.

Ok, growing up khaki was sanitation/military green. When did khaki's turn tan? Jeez I'm old.

OK-now I'm really in a panic about being ready, the documents have arrived and my husband has not even looked at his clothes yet!! Luckily I trust his judgement and I'll just trust he'll get it all done in time!
Deb-it sounds like we think alike-some of us are doing the conch trolly/aquarium/museum tour in Key West and we're all doing the Tulum tour in coz. too. Hope it's not too hot and buggy-I've always wanted to see the ruins, so I'll just have to deal with it. In GC we have an aquaboat/snorkel planned--my sons a bit freaky about creatures in the water, so I couldn't talk him into the sting rays-he wouldn't even touch them in Sea World.
OK-time to settle in for the evening-I was just so excited to get the paper work I had to sign on! (everyone has been writing so much--I had three pages to read And my husband thinks I'm the only one that's this involved!! (my mom thinks I'm nuts too-oh well-I call it a hobby )

Excursions for us: DH and DD are kayaking in Key West, I am just exploring on the conch trolley....and shopping. Grand Cayman, we are doing Captain Marvins (I think 11:15 also, have to check).......and shopping. Cozumel we have decided to explore on our own. We are thinking about renting a taxi to check out the island.........and shopping. Castaway Cay, DH is doing the bottom fishing, then will snorkel/ tube with Melissa. I am tubing, relaxing, and well.......guess I'll see if I have any money left!! (JK, it's not as bad as it sounds....)

Lisa, I will definitely have Melissa e-mail Alexa when she gets back. We have heard from her a couple of times: she is having a blast. She did tell me that she talked to DBF on the phone last night for two hours : : "Mom, you'll be proud of me, I was saving on my text messaging".

Watching the weather daily now. DH calls it my "vacation weather watch". Gotta check every day to see what's brewing. Not like I can do anything about it........just worry. Hope FL gets the rain it needs, and then the tropics calm down for a few weeks now!!

But no, he's not! He's a market manager for Dillons! Maybe a mortician makes more money though, then we can cruise more often!!??

todayray- You got documents today???? I called DCL and they said they were printed but not sent out yet! Every other time we've cruised, we got them about FOUR weeks out! This is late for us!

Excursions for us: Dolphins thru Disney on Cozumel, Stingray City on GC--early too I think, and the jetski tour on CC. Key West we are going on our own trolley tour also. DH isn't doing the Stingray--so he may take young son to the butterfly farm.

My dh is casual at work. He is the opposite with dress up clothes. Not sure he even has a suit to wear. He'll be the one with the black linen pants and the narly flip flops on at dinner. LOL!! So, he looks gorgeous from the ankles up.

I am not even trying to get my daughters to dress. My oldest is going through her T-Shirt stage. I have been in search for a T-Shirt that is more body fitting and not so boyish.

LOL on dh dress! Mine wears jeans/shorts and t-shirts to work! Of course, he works in the basement pharmacy of a hospital, at night. Who is going to see him? He is pitching a fit that I'm making him wear pants and a polo for dinner! He's a casual kind of guy. He definately doesn't own a suit, and I can't remember the last time he had on his jacket!

My understanding is yes, we will still get physical documents. Right Lisa? That is the word I got from my TA also. I know she is getting tired of hearing from me, but at least it's just me, and not all 21 of us.

I REALLY need to get some work done! I've been here for 2 hours now, and have accomplished next to nothing! I have to get off the boards. How am I going to make it through the next 69 hours of work! I can't stay off the board long enough to get anything done.

LOL on the work thing! Glad I'm not the only one not getting anything done! I actually did accomplish about 3 whole things today. One I've been working off and on for a week now. It should have taken me an hour tops! I need this vacation to get here so I can get my life back under control!

The UPS man just left my office! I about hugged him! Documents have arrived! They are MUCH smaller than they have been in the past but that's fine with me!
I remembered they sent all that "pre-cruise" stuff awhile back so this is great!
