I think your dates are great and hotel choice wonderful! I just made reservations for the Candy Cane Inn July 27 through Aug. 1st. Can't wait to try it out! Great prices! Sounds like a very nice hotel!

The dates will be busy, and the hotel great!

Get to the gates early, use fast pass, and try to relax and have fun!

OH- and sunscreen, lots and lots of heavy duty sunscreen. It will be hot and you will burn. I used 45 on my face last weekend. It wasnt hot out, and I still got a bit pink.

Not sure about your dates but we stayed there in April. It was very nice, pretty landscaping. Great breakfast, an assortment of danishes, bagels, whole fruit (apples, oranges, bananas), 3 kinds of cereal, coffee, hot chocolate, oj, oatmeal, etc. The walk from the hotel to Disneyland, DCA is about 2 long city blocks.
