July 18 Tortola cruise part 3

This is it! Probably my last post We leave later this afternoon for Milwaukee, our flight is tomorrow morning at 6:04 am. I still need to print 2 door magnets, do 1 load of laundry, vacuum the entire house, clean 3 toilets, sweep kitchen, do morning dishes, take my sister grocery shopping (she is staying at our house while we're gone), and finish packing. We want to get on the road around 4:00.

I can't believe the time has finally arrived. We've had this cruise booked since the day the dates were released (we booked on board during our July 2008 cruise).

Well, see some of you next Friday - the rest next weekend!!!

Well, looks like I'll miss the next race.

We are taking the girls to SeaWorld today. Normally I LOVE SeaWorld. But it's supposed to be between 102 and 104 today with 50% humidity. While we are somewhat used to the heat, we are NOT used to the humidity. And Grandma & Grandpa are used to neither.

Soooooo.....

Hopefully, we'll find a shady place and the park won't be too terribly crowded due to the heat.

Don't feel bad. I'm still trying to get DH to print the ones that I've got saved up. He's the techy and design guy. Last year, he did a beautiful one from Africa. It needs to be reprinted because it got smeared in the suitcase.

For all who are interested in meeting other cruisers, a group will be gathering at the SSR Turf Club for drinks and chatting. BomaJack and MarcyIn Florida aren't speaking to each other today on the board....

We had a bit of a panic last night where we thought that the now dead washing machine had dumped a lot of water into the walls and we might need to rip the walls out. But we think (we hope -- knock wood) that it was just the pile of kids' laundry that got wet and was now a compost laundry pile that was breeding a nasty sour stink. So Greg is at a laundromat today (his first time ever!) doing about 10 loads of laundry, pending delivery of our new washer tomorrow.

So we're talking, just not here.

Do you guys know when you'll be heading to the Earl of Sandwich? I know you're meeting for drinks elsewhere first; I just didn't know how long you'd be drinking.

We have an amazing color printer at work, and it simply refused to print my door signs or my FE notes. It turns out that our IT department had messed up the configurations on the printer last week. SO I made them fix it. Is that wrong? I just told them I had a really big pdf that wouldn't print.

I am spending most of my time reading when I should be starting to pack and get things ready. I totally understand ordering the FE stuff. But since we only booked the cruise about 3 days before the FE deadline, that wasn't an option for us!

Of course, now I'm starting to rethink my FE gifts. My dh will kill me when he reads this, esp. since they're all packed up and ready to go!

I feel the same way. I had my appointment last week. Luckily I was busy with my dryer going up and getting my DD to a friend's boat that I didn't have time to worry like I normally do. I've always said I'd rather give birth than go to the dentist. I can't imagine having a job where nobody is happy to see you. No wonder dentist have a high suicide rate.
