July 15, 2023 Barcelona to Southampton on the Disney Dream

I am sailing on the Dream on July 15, 2023 from Barcelona to Southampton. When we stop in Lisbon,we want to visit Fatima. Has anyone travelled to Fatima while in Lisbon, and if so, how long is the ride to Lisbon by private transfer?

I don't know about getting there, but I've been and it was pretty amazing to see. I actually sang in a choir for a mass being held there when I was in college. I'm not deeply religious, but was raised in the Catholic religion and this was a pretty spectacular place to see.

Have you checked the description in a port adventure that goes there? Many times it will say how long the bus ride is to get there.

Same with me...raised Catholic and learned about it in grammar school so very long ago. I've always wanted to visit, and this cruise looks like the perfect time to do so.

I looked at the Port Adventures but DCL doesn't offer one for Lisbon next year. I'm looking at port adventures on other lines just to see if they offer an excursion to Fatima, then I could decide whether to do a private transfer to Fatima. Looking at your cruises, I've sailed on several of the same European cruises as you did. DCL really is amazing!!! Yep, we had a few cancelled due to Covid. When we finally were able to sail again in November 2021 on our first Very Very Merry Christmas Cruise and stepped onto the Magic, I yelled "Hooray, I'm Home!" Best experience ever!
