HI FE friends,
Thanks for organizing the FE.....what a big job! Also, the "meet" onboard by the pool sounds like a good idea. I have a question for all of you......are you giving FE gifts to every member of the family? I am wondering about this considering the weight issue on the plane and also considering I have to bring warm clothes! We participated in the FE on our last cruise and gave a family gift....but it was all Disney stuff....a Disney calendar (it was New Year's), Disney notepads, pencils, erasers, stickers.....I think that was all. We received many family gifts, so I am just curious. We booked our cruise close to sail date and just made the FE cut-off........I am so happy we have lots more time to be creative this time!!! Just interested in your thoughts! ~Carol

We think we have nailed down excursions! We are already booked on Harv and Marv for whale watching in Juneau. We are pretty sure we will do Wilderness Exploration and Crab Feast in Ketchikan and a train/bus combo through Chilkoot Charters in Skagway. Once I have the final ok from my FIL, I will book the Chilkoot Charters one- May 1 book date for the DCL one.

As far as FE, I think we are doing a main family gift and then a smaller per person gift, but it depends somewhat on how many cabins participate and cost factors. But, everyone should just do what they are comfortable IMO!

It's great to see how posts growing! And to see plans coming together!!!
On page 12 a thread asked what each person likes for FE stuff. So here it goes:

DH (Randy) He likes Goofy and college football.
DW (me: Debbie) I like Minnie and cooking. (It's my birthday on the cruise! Tracy Arm day!)
DD (Hannah) age 15: She likes Tinkerbell, Chip and Dale and is obsessed over the Hunger Games.
DS (Corban) age 13: He likes Jack Sparrow and anything involving video games.

This is just some ideas. Anything is fine and fun for us!! Like most of the group, we're flying so we can't take back tons of stuff (although we wish we could)

Carol -likes Mickey and Minnie, travel, scrapbooking,
Carina -7 years old to turn 8 on July 16th (our At Sea Day)!!!!!! ~likes Mickey and Pluto, reading, writing (she has written stories about our previous cruises!)
We love everything, we both like art....but Carina has many allergies, so we are super careful about food!

We see you are celebrating your birthday on the cruise too!!! What fun!!!!
Carina, unfortunately can't have much candy.....so, I'll have to say no....sorry...she's saving up for her Mickey Bars!!! One thing, (although there are many things!!!) I like about Disney Cruises is that they watch the food and have prepared special meals for Carina due to her allergies! How wonderful for me!!

My son and his two cousins do collect and trade Disney pins, I am sure they would enjoy trading with anyone who decides to bring pins along. (me too)

We are pin people too, not sure how much we will do on the cruise, but we won lanyards during the Year of a Million Dreams at Disneyland an have easily spent at least $500 on pins since. Well played Disney....

What a great forum! Thank you to Sheena for starting this thread, and thank you to Jaime for organizing the FE. Traveling from Arizona, we are a family of 4 - Steve (dad), Moon (mom), DD Sydney (8), and DD Ellen (4) - going on our first cruise ever. We are so excited about the trip and so happy to meet everyone here! Please add us to the FE list. Sounds like great fun! It will be a pleasure to meet all of you in July.
