When we travel abroad, we just use the ATM machines to get as much money as we need. The banks get better exchange rates than you can if you go to an exchange place.

We are planning to use ATMs as well. If you are a Bank of America customer, you can use Scotia Bank ATMs without having to pay a non-BOA ATM fee. $300 USD daily limit. There is a 1% international transaction fee that is usually better than the currency exchange stores. Scotia Banks seem to be located all over downtown and in many 7-Elevens. There is one in YVR it seems at a 7-Eleven.

hi all,
have clothes to pack spread all of the place. now just to find room to pack it all. going to the carib is so much easier, - shorts, tops swimmers and flip flops. just for grins called dcl about meet and greet place. i have no preference other than what will work pcd said the promenade lounge would work if no one has it booked for per sailing party and the ship has it open not for bar service but just open. good place to try. all remember deck 3 mid ship port ( left side for u newbies). th pcd also suggested going to the adult part of i think deck 9 as it is open to all untill 4:00 pm, wud give us an hour to meet and greet. off to wal mart to get green felt to cut into mickey ears.
well im sure we all all getting ready. hope it's an easy task. next week at this time hope to c many of u on deck.

WHOA......I am starting to waiver from the plan....(haha).....Oh, I MIGHT need this or that ......maybe I'd better pack it......and my DD7...soon to be 8....."Mommy!!!!!!!" and gives me "the look"!!!! Ooooo, it's getting exciting!!!!

One more day until we leave. It just struck me that I am likely going to miss all the royal birth coverage- which is a little bit of a bummer. I am sure it will be over the top and crazy- but I also feel like it's a once in a lifetime type event to watch. I am seriously considering setting my DVR for every night of primetime- ha ha!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the wonderful FE gifts we received and especially all of the precious congrats on our Golden Wedding Anniversary. It was wonderful meeting those of you we had the opportunity to meet and I just think next cruise we need to plan more get togethers so we can get to know everyone on a more personal basis. What a trip of a lifetime and we can hardly wait to plan the next one!!! Still have suitcases in the bedroom to go down to the basement, but have had fun going through all our stuff we purchased for family, neighbors and friends. Surprisingly, nothing was lost or broken.....Good to be home but are still trying to catch up with the time change......Blessings to each and everyone of you and thanks for the opportunity of spending such a glorious week with you.

We finally arrived home after visiting Vancouver and friends along the way....A BIG THANK YOU to all our Disney Friends that made Carina's 8th birthday so very special.!!!!!! She had a WONDERful time getting all the special gifts you left for her!! Thank you so very much. (How can we ever top this birthday!?) We are very thankful for wonderful weather and that we didn't need all the raingear and boots that I dragged along! Please keep in touch!
