I didn't see a meet thread so I figure I may as well start one! We are totally excited to be going on this cruise. Our party is, myself (Sheena), DH, DS (2.75 at cruise time) and DD (17 months at cruise time). We are also traveling with my FIL, S-MIL, SIL and BIL. Anyone else out there?

Hello! I had grand plans to come on here on the 15th and be all stoked to have just one year left, but, I forgot. So- 360 days until cruising- whoo hoo!!!!!!

So, a little about me. I am a teacher. I switched districts right when everyone started laying off teachers left and right, so I have been low man on the seniority totem pole for four years now. I finally have enough seniority that being laid off isn't a huge worry, but I have to keep switching grade levels. Next year... kindergarten. Not sure how I feel about that, but that is where I am heading! I taught first grade last year and liked it better than I thought I would, so I am being hopeful for the same experience. Plus, this year's first grade class has a bunch of crazies in it, so I might be better off.

My Mom and I and. 2 great family friends will be going. Booked our Vancouver hotel yesterday. Can't wait. Plan to fly into Seattle and stay for 2days prior and then take the train up the day before the cruise.

Looking to see what others have for their travel plans so far. We haven't booked our flight or hotel. We will be leaving out Memphis most likely on the 13th.

We have not booked anything either- flying from Phoenix, likely on the 14th. I am starting to worry about sharing a room with my 2.5 year old and 17 month old for a week. Really, I am just worried that no-one will ever go to sleep! My BIL and SIL just backed out due to work conflicts, which sort of stinks, but we also kind of expected it.

Hello, We are returning to Alaska via the Wonder for our 3rd trip. We went in June of 2011 for the innaugural Disney Alaska cruise. And we had so much fun that we returned in August of 2012 for another trip. We had even more fun and decided to return again in July of 2013. We had never been on a cruise to anywhere until we discovered the great adventures on the Wonder. The first cruise we traveled with our son, his wife, and 3 grandchildren (age 2, 4, and 11). Last year just my husband and I went. Each trip was a real delight--fabulous food, entertainment, scenery, and fun.

We'll be happy to answer any questions about Alaska and the Wonder.

Also, the fun of participating in the Fish Extender experience should not be missed!!
