There were games and munchies, pin trading and DVC chatter. Disney background music and a cool rugby tent. My familily had a good time and want to thank our hostess Tigger2esq and everyone else that had a part in making it a fun day! We enjoyed meeting others that understand why WDW is our vacation spot of choice.....till the next one........spruce

Just got home from Harrisburg. Thanks Tigger2esq and DH for the hospitality!! Also thanks to everyone who help organize the event! Also thanks for all who showed up! I had a great time!!

And I will work on posting my pics soon (not tonite I am beat from shopping and driving home). we went to the Hershey outlets before leaving for home. I found some nice Disney diecuts and paper for scrapbooking, but that's another forum ;)

We really had a great time meeting everyone, getting the scoop on DVC from long time members (We are newbies and just getting the hang of all this banking etc....), trading some Disney Pins and having an all around fun time!! Mike--I am glad you found the scrapbooking store in Hershey--they have some great Disney stuff. It was a great way to meet people that shared the same interests. Even DH Jeff who had threatened to play 36 holes of golf to stay away hung out most of the day meeting everyone!! Thanks again to Doreen for suggesting we combine the DVC DIS meet with the Pin meet. We will definintely be doing this again!!!!

Nice to hear that the central PA'ers had a good time. I'd have mentioned it to wifey-poo but we were visiting her family this week, gearing them up for there first 'real' trip to WDW. :)

Is there anything like this in Southeastern PA?

Where is this store in Hershey? We'll most likely be heading out that way sometime this summer and will be starting scrapbooking as an extension to my photography habit.

who thinks nothing of driving 19 hours to Orlando in one swell foop, but thinks driving 2 hours to central PA is an awefully long drive. :)

I MISSED IT!!! AUGHH!!! I was at Arts Fest all weekend though...hahah..wow I need time to recover...

Joe,

The hershey outlets are RIGHT next to Hershey Park. You can see the park (and hear) from the outlet, you can also smell the factory as well. Follow the signs for the Park and then they will have signs for the outlets as well.

The store is off in a small section that looks mostly desserted, there is like two stores out of 7-8 store fronts available. I almost missed it as I was going to skip the section then we crossed the roadway and say the sign on the front of the building and there it said scrapbooking so we checked it out, and I am glad we did, (my wallet may not be :D)!

We had a FABULOUS time! Thanks to Tigger2esq and her DH and JenWDWfan for all their hard work. The food was great, the games were fun, the prizes were wonderful, the weather was perfect - but the best part of the meet was the company! We met lots of very nice folks who share our passion for Disney.

I've got a busy schedule this week so I won't get pictures posted until tomorrow evening, but I wanted to say thanks to all who planned and attended - it was great to meet you all!!!
