Well, school got cancelled today....roads are flooded so the buses can't get everywhere they need to go. Luckily DH's flight got cancelled as well, so he doesn't leave for his business trip until tomorrow. Hopefully the rain will stop soon so the kids can go back tomorrow....I hate having to make up so many days in June! It looks like we'll be playing a lot of Mario Kart and card games today. Hope everyone else is seeing the sun!

Sorry to hear about school canceling. When we had the fires 2-3 years ago, the high school was closed for a week and the school district decided NOT to make up the days. Maybe your district will do the same? Here's hoping!

cheri...we have finally dried out. Yesterday was in the high 60's, so very nice. Kids missed two days of school from the flooding. Our school district rarely uses the states exemption, so it looks like we will be adding days to the end of the year. We are up to June 22 right now (we have had 4 snow days so far). What can you do?

Good to hear. Since we get out so late in June anyway I thin our district would have a riot on their hands if they tried to make the kids go into July.

I wonder what all of the other Peeps and Peep-lets are up to these days.

it's almost spring break. then 'tis but a few short months until summer (when the official countdown begins)

I'll try to keep it down...I am already for our spring break. Of course, it doesn't start until April 24, but who is counting? We are very excited b/c we are going to Aruba for the 1st time. If anyone has been there and has any suggestions, let me know!
