I've heard that this is something that they sometimes do, having a guest conductor say "All Aboard" into the microphone, ride near the conductor, etc.

I have a little guy who's whole entire world revolves around trains, and if could do this it would just totally send him over the moon!

Does anybody have any information about it? What do you have to do to get picked? Is there a good time of day to try? Have to board at a certain station? Anybody know anything?

Seriously, this would be the absolute highlight of his entire trip. He loves the train SO much. We must have tanken 20 round trips on the thing during our last visit, and no matter where we are in the MK, when he hears that whistle he looks up and says, "Mommy, that's my train!"

On my last trip we had a junior conductor. I suggest getting to the MK at rope drop, If you are with another adult let that person distract your son, while you express your sons interest to the platform conductor. Hope the helps :)

We were in Mickey's Toon Town one afternoon about 4:00 on line to take a nice relaxing train ride. (Man, if I were allowed to, I'd just lay on the train and take a nappy!) When we were stopped at Main Street, one of the conductors came over to us and asked my youngest (who was about 7 at the time) if she wanted to be a conductor. Of course!!!! So I've got photos and video of Kyralyn with the conductor's hat on saying, "all aboard!".

We didn't even ask, he just approached us. We didn't even know it was an option :goodvibes Maybe if you see it's not crowded you can ask, what'll it hurt?

:thumbsup2 my dd was picked for this, she got to push the button and do announcements. we got on as soon as we got to the park, but the conductor asked her?

My ds did this. A cm asked ds if he'd like to say, "All Aboard!" in the microphone. It was a train ride from Main Street in the afternoon, and we didn't do anything special to get picked. It was fun! I hope that your ds gets to do it.

My DD5 just asked and was invited to stand on the porch on the back of the train and call out "All Aboard!". (just like on the monorail!) She loved it!
Just sit in the last car and request it!!
Good Luck! :yay:

DD3 was just picked in Towntoon to do it. She started yapping to the girl at the gate and we all just started happily chatting and she asked her if she would like to do it. She was so happy. They gave her a little card and she said all aboard on the microphone. Got to sit in a special seat also.

Hi...well usually a conductor will just pick a person at random to be a guest conductor usually its a guest they are talking to or what not..but a lot of people do ask to be a guest conductor..and if you ask they will definitely allow you to be one...and you'll be able to ride in the back with the conductor, say all aboard into the mic, sometimes press the spiel buttons and when I do it..I like to let the kids wear my hat sometimes so they can take a picture..but that all depends on the conductor.

They also have a golden ticket you can ask for. They have a junior conductor card you can get also.
