Joy! We got all of our FP+ wishes granted!

My DH was kind enough to stay up until the 12AM FP+ booking window last night and schedule our FP's for our May 9th trip.

We got 3 separate SDMT's at our desired times (one on our first day), a POTC on the last day it's open before the rehab closure, TSM's galore, and many more at the exact times we wanted them. I think if we wanted A&E, we could have easily gotten that too.

I have to say, planning this trip (FP and ADR's) was significantly easier than planning our last trip (Feb '14; first with MB and FP+). Also, I rarely had any issues with MDE not working.

I do miss the days of true spontaneity, but we can always cancel, switch or forfeit if a park is really too crowded or we decide to chill at the pool.

Great news. I think that booking at midnight is pretty much a 99% guarantee of getting everything that you want. Just wish it didn't have to be in the middle of the night. WDW is single-handedly responsible for a jump in Jimmy Fallon's and Jimmy Kimmel's ratings.

I did the same last night and had equally good results. The time for A&E was a bit later than I wanted but we'll take it.

Also when I went to book FP for the first MSEP it kept telling me there were none available and it tried to give me the late MSEP. I probably went back and tried again five times. I was about to quit but tried once more and there it was, 8:30-8:50pm. Actually the same thing happened wth the FOLK showtime I wanted.

The earliest A&E I could get was 6-7. It's messing me up from getting additional fastpasses, but I'm still happy with it.
